This chapter is gonna get dark, just a quick heads up.
Debra's POV
Sigh. Monday, I can't get him off my mind. He's so captivating, I wonder what he thinks of himself. I'm on my way to school, I hope I he's here today!
Intercom speaker: Oliver Bates please come to the office, oliver bates please come to the office, thank you.
Bates? Really? His last named had to be bates? Good lord. As he got up to go to the office I gave him a mitchiveus smirk, he returned with a disproving look. I just snickered and continued on with my class.
Oliver's POV
God damn it. Did they have to say my last name? I'm the only fucking oliver here. Assholes man. I reached the office front desk "Oliver?" I said to the lady behind the desk "Mr. Winchester" shit. Principles office. Wonderful, just what I need.
I enter the room "You asked to see me sir?" I said, knowing what he was going to say. "So, I was told you had another squabble with Jason recently, tell me, how did that go?" He said vary condescending. I let out a long exhale "Well you know, I really didn't want to get into it with him, but, he was hurting another student, a girl, which I wasn't and won't tolerate. So, you can suspend me for stopping a sexual assult or you can let me go back to class? What will it be?" I said mocking his tone. He knew I was right, but I knew he didn't like it. "Look, just keep his bones together alright? Your making me look bad here" he said speaking quietly. "I'll try my best." "Thank you, now get the hell out of my office, you little punk." I stood up as straight as I could, makeing sure to keep eye contact with him. "Let me tell you how I work, you be nice to me, I'll be nice to you, don't, well just remember, your address is on the school website." He got spooked "Are you threatening me?" He said as a single drop of sweat slid down his face. "No, I'm just reminding you who's the diagnosed psychopath here." I know he's awear of my medical history, chronic depression, anxiety, paranoia, and the list goes on and on.
Idiots, I'm sourouned by idiots, well I guess that's not true, I'm surrounded by people. I went back to class just as things were raping up, I gathered my things, then the bell rang. Debra came up to me "Hey! You don't look too hungover this morning" she said jokingly "Don't get your hopes up" I said in my melecholic voice. "Hey so I wanted to ask you something" she said curiously. "What's on your mind?" I replied, intregued. "Well, you know how you told me the truth about weed? Is there a truth to alcohol?" She said like she was confessing to a murder. "No, when you drink it your litteraly drinking poison" I replied gruffly "Why do people do it then?" She asked disappointed. "There's not a correct answer to that, alot of people do it because they like the feeling of being drunk, some do it to numb depression, some do it and they don't know why" I knew that's not what she wanted to hear, but it was the truth. "Is that why you do it then? To numb the pain?" "Isn't this your next class?" I said walking away.
Debra's POV
You know, I'm really starting to regret likeing him. The next period went by then it was break. I saw him outside, leaning against the billing like he was on Friday. I want him to make some more friends, I brought a new one "Hi ollie." I said chearfully. He looked scared, like, really scared, but I went on anyways. "This is my friend Roger, Roger, this is Oliver." I said introducing them. "Hey bro, what's going on vato?" He said greating oliver. Oliver was terrified, trembling and shaking, "Roger, can you give us a second?" I asked as nicely as possible. "Uhhhh, yeah, I'll see you around Debra." He walked away. "What's going on dude?" I said getting in close to him, mistake. He pushed me away and he seemed calm again "I'm fine" he said walking away, putting some distance between us. "Please tell me, I'll tell you something about me" "Look I don't like new people alright? They make me anxious" he said vary defensively. "Hey it's alright, I know it can be a little scary someti-" he cut me off "no, you don't understand, I don't function properly, I'm not right up here" he said knocking on his head. The bell rang, I looked back and said "Hey well look if you ever need someone to talk to I'm ushaly avala-" I turned back around and he was gone. Damn it, he batmaned me.
The rest of my day went by pretty normal, until school let out... I was walking to where my dad picks me up after school, I was almost there, but as I turned a corner, some big scary goon was in my way. "Um, exuse me, can you please get out of the way?" I said as politely as possible. "Sure thing little lady" he flashed a devious grin and as he stood a side, I saw him standing there, branishing a knive. It was Jason. I tried to turn around and run, but the big guy from earlier was in the way. "Where do you think your going cutie?" The scary one said. I screamed and yelled for help, but Jason stuck his hand over my mouth. "Bite me and I'll rip your fucking teeth out" I kept trying to scream but it was muffled by Jason's hand. The goon took me to an ally close by where there were more of them, some bigger, some smaller, all of them scary. "Jason, what's going on?" I said as calmly as possible. "Oh well um, me and my boys here are having a little feast, a gathering you see?" He said vary plain, as though it was part of an ordinary conversation. "Feast?" I asked. "That's right..." his tone changed to a scary calm one "it's an all you can fuck buffet" I relized what was about to happen and so I tried to run, but one of Jason's guys struck me and nocked me down. "Have fun" he said. They all came for me at once, grabbing and ripping my clothes off. I tried to fight them, god knows I tried to fight them, but they were too strong, and there were too many of them.
Oliver found me in the alley, bloody, beaten and... I can't even bring myself to say the word. He took me to the hospital. "Hey, Debra, Debra!" I came to, I was conciouse before but, it was like I wasn't. I sat there in utter silence. "Yes?" I replied. "I know that look, that tone, something messed you up bad" "how did you know?" I responded. "Because it's what I see when I look in the mirror." I began to weep softly. "Debra? I know how hard this must be for you, but I need you to tell me what happened, I can tell your hurt, but I didn't see anything, I need you to tell me what happened." He said softly, I didn't think he had a soft voice tone. "Jason... he..." I burst into tears. "That's all I needed to hear" that tone. That tone he used when he said that, that's what he sounded like as he was about to murder that man. He stepped on the gas harder, I felt the power of the engine pulling my back, the centripetal force affecting me.
"I need someone ASAP!" I heard oliver yell as he carried me into the emergency room. Some orderlies pulled out a streacher and carried me off. I could hear him in the distance as I was being taken away. "Call this girl's parents imidetly. Her named is Debra Moser..." That's all I could hear because I was taken into imidet care.
Oliver's POV
"... Debra Moser, here are her pearnts numbers." I set a card down on the desk and ran out of there quick. Jason crossed the fucking line. I hopped on the rode and went to where his hideout was. I know he thinks I don't know, but I also know he knows I'm not dumb, he'll be expecting me.
That's all for this chapter, kinda long one, definitely a dark one. Let me know if you enjoyed, if you have a suggestion for a certain direction you think the story should go, let me know with a comment. Later.
