Seeing what is wrong with Sicily

Logan got on the bed with the baby and held her close as they waited on the doctor to come in to see what was going on with the baby and why was she in so much pain, and get her taken care of 

"Go to sleep sweetie mommy and daddy know that you are tired" he says as Erin dims the lights, so the baby could sleep a little bit while they waited on the doctor to come into the room to check her out and see what is going on with her

"Daddy is right here to protect you baby girl, and he won't let you go" he says as he talks to her a little bit to soothe her as she started to settle down as he held her close to him

"I think she is having pains in her stomach area" Erin says as she lightly touches the baby's stomach causing the baby to cry again

"Oh no I hope they can fix it in time" he says as he looks at her cause he was scared for the little princess

"Me too" Erin says as she sits down cause this is going to be a waiting game now cause the emergency room was booked up and there were a lot of patients waiting to be seen by the doctor

Logan gently rocks her slowly in his arms to soothe her as she sleeps in his arms peacefully 

"Sicily" he says as he moves the hair that was in her little face

Sicily stirred but didn't wake as daddy called her name

"She is fast asleep on you Logan and doesn't want to move" Erin says as she looks at the baby that was sound asleep on daddy

"I know and I could get some sleep too cause we are going to be a while here in this hospital to see what is going on with her" he says as he starts to fall asleep 

"I'm going to take a nap as well" Erin says as she gets comfortable in the hospital seats cause they were going to be there for a long time

(Later)

"Hello" the doctor says as she tries to wake Logan up cause she was there to check out the patient who was Sicily

"Oh sorry doctor i fell asleep" he says as he wakes up from his slumber

"Quite alright what seems to be the problem?" the doctor asks Logan

"She has been quite fussy for two hours now, and she fell asleep cause she was crying so much" he says to the doctor who was going to get Sicily checked out

"Let's see what is going on with this little cutie pie" the doctor says as she starts to examine Sicily and see what is going on with her while Logan held her

Logan got off the bed, so the doctor could check Sicily out and see what is going on with her

"Her belly is swollen and I want to see what is going on with her, so I am going to order some tests and an ultrasound to see what is going on with her" the doctor says to Logan and Erin

"Erin it's best if you wait in the waiting room cause I am going to be back here with Sicily and see what is going on with her" he says as he tries to have her leave to go tot he waiting room cause he was going to come out and tell her when she can come back into the room

"Logan I want to stay back here with her while the doctor checks her out" Erin says to him

"You can baby if you want to I am just suggesting to go wait in the waiting room is all until the test is over. I do not want you to worry about her is all too much, and you could lose the baby" he says as he hugs her close to him cause he could see that she was ready to cry at any minute

"I want to go to the ultrasound room with her, and then I will probably got to the waiting room when she gets her blood work done to see what is going on with her" Erin says as she looks at the baby that was looking around at where she was and she saw that mommy and daddy was still in the room with her

"That sounds like a plan" he says as he picks the baby up to hold her close to him

(Later)

"Okay Erin she is going down to ultrasound to see what is going on with her" he says as she comes out with the baby who was quite fussy cause she just had some blood taken from her for the testing to see what is going on with her

Erin gets up to go with Logan to the ultrasound room with the baby that he had in his arms and that wasn't happy

"Sicily you are quite brave you know that baby doll" Erin says to the baby that was in her daddy's arms

Sicily just coos at mommy as she heard her voice to soothe her

"Sicily mommy and daddy is going to be right here with you to help you through this and we ain't going to let you go through this alone at all baby girl" he says as they continue to walk to the ultrasound room room with the baby that was settling down slowly cause mommy and daddy was besides her

Logan laid Sicily on the bed once they got in the room to see what was going on with her

"I know baby daddy will hold you once this is all over he promises, and we can rock" he says as he looks at the baby girl who was reaching up for him to hold her in his arms, and he can't hold her

"Sicily you can squeeze mommy's finger if you want she doesn't mind one bit cause mommy knows you are in pain" Erin says as she sits next to the baby that was ready to cry cause she wasn't going to be held by daddy while she was having the ultrasound  

Sicily takes mommy up on that 

"Sicily you are going to get through this you are a strong little girl, and you are daddy's strong little girl" he says as he looks down at her as the tech comes into the room to see what was going on with Sicily and get the results to the doctor quicker then the blood work that she had taken  

Logan hummed her a soft lullaby to help soothe her a bit more cause he could tell that she needed some loving from daddy cause daddy wasn't holding her in his arms like she likes

"What song are you humming?" Erin asks him in a whisper

"Try to figure it out" he says as he continues to hum to Sicily

Erin was touched that Logan was humming her favorite song to soothe Sicily

"Oh Logie" Erin says when she heard the song

Logan smiled at her as the tech was seeing what was wrong with Sicily 

"Oh i have found the problem" the teach says when she sees what was little Sicily's trouble

"What is it?" Erin asks her

"It's a tumor that is very small, and Sicily had a twin that formed, and that twin got sucked into Sicily as she was growing so her twin can be removed" the tech says to the couple

"How soon will she have surgery?" he asks the tech

"I don't know it depends on the doctor" the tech says to the couple

Erin was scared for little Sicily the most

"Erin she will be okay" he says as he tries to comfort her
