Fun with the Henderson kids wattys 2023

Part 5

Well I somehow got a Thursday off out of the blue, and since I am off today I am planning to update all of my stories and I know they will last till I am off again

"Here we are sweetheart daddy going to take you in" he says as he was going to get her out of the car once he had parked by the emergency room and he grabbed the masks and a shield in case she did not want to keep the mask on cause the younger ones had a rough time keeping the mask on when they were in public at all and he had to help them understand why they had to keep it on, and if they did not want to have it on he lets them have a breathe and be able not to have it on for five minutes before he has them put it back on and they were pretty good about putting back on after their five minutes

Logan got her all registered and they took a seat in the emergency room, and they were going to wait their turn to go back to see what she broke this time cause she was the road runner of the group, and she always has the need for speed

"Sweetheart you got to remember you can't quite catch up with the big kids quite, yet you are little" he says as he holds her cause she was in pain right now from her injury that she had

The little girl did not want to keep her shield on her cause she was in a lot of pain right now and she wanted to cuddle with daddy right now cause she felt safe with him

"Sweetie, you have to keep it on for the time being cause of the virus that is going around I hate to have you get it baby doll" he says as he was talking to her

Right now, the little girl didn't care she wanted it off cause she was in a lot of pain

"I guess we will have to wait outside" he says as he was going to take her outside to wait since she did not want to wear her shield right now cause she could not wear the mask cause of her asthma that she had due to her mother smoking when she was pregnant with her

Logan told the nurse that they were going to be outside cause she did not want to wear the face shield while they were waiting to be seen

"Okay sweetie once we get called in you have to wear it even though you hate it you can have it off while we are in the room together" he tells her as he took her outside to breathe a little better

The little girl nods with a sniffle cause she was okay with that arrangement right now cause she hated the covering and Logan understood that cause she was too little to know what was going on in the world and she didn't know much about this virus and why it makes people sick

"Hopefully you get seen soon, but I don't know right now cause there is a lot of people in there waiting to be seen too, so we have to wait our turn okay" he says as he was still holding her in his arms right now

(Later)

Logan and the little girl was called in to be seen by the local doctor that was on call right now

"Remember you have to have your shield on as we go back in the hospital" he tells her

She nods cause he was going to carry her in to be seen by the doctor

"Daddy is never ever going to leave you" he says as he carried her in

The little girl was put in a room to wait for the doctor after she had gotten her vitals of course

"Hopefully this can be cured and you can go back to normal" he says as he takes of her covering cause she hated it and felt like she couldn't breathe right now and he understood that with her cause she did not understand any of this right now and Logan was going to explain it the best way he knew how cause he told the older kids about the virus the little kids had a hard time understanding what was COVID and what it did to the body as well

While they waited Logan told her more about the virus in a way she understood it cause he did not want to get technical with it and explain about the vents and all that jazz that comes with the virus

"We have to test her for COVID" the nurse tells him as she came in the room with one of the quick tests cause the doctors wanted all of the patients tested before they were seen that way if the patient is COVID positive they will have to get a team together for them

"I'll do it cause she is still little, and she doesn't like holding still for a long period of time as well" Logan says as he was going to do her test to see if she had COVID cause if she had COVID he was going to test and test the kids as well and that was not going to look pretty either cause they hate getting tested for this virus every time they were close to someone who might of had it, so they had to see if they had it as well and if they did have COVID they were going to quarantine for a couple of days and still test as well to see if they still had it or no

Logan plays a game with her to get her to do it and she fines it funny the whole time daddy is doing the test with her to see if she was sick or not and he tested himself in the process as well

"There that wasn't too bad now was it I say not" he says as he was going to put their swabs in a container to be tested cause they won't know the results for a little but so he had to keep her occupied as well as they waited for the results of both tests

Logan just holds her cause she wasn't feeling the best at all so cuddles were in the cards that night as they waited for the results as well and he new she wanted to be better and not be in a lot of pain either 

"I am hoping you don't have it cause you have it you have to be in the hospital getting better from this disease and daddy and your siblings have to get tested as well, and your Uncles will have to get tested as well and then we will have to quarantine as well while you are getting better then once you are released you will have to be in a separate part of the house until you are fully better" he says as he was talking to her
