She walks back to us, setting a box on the counter. "I found this in next to his bed...when I was looking for a note...a reason...an explanation...just something." She takes the lid off the box. A letter labeled with Louis' address sits on the top of more envelopes. He grabs it up, only to reveal one with my name and address. The four of us have all have a letter in our hands, but there are three left. Harry reaches for them and reads them.

"Samantha." He drops one of the remaining cards in front of her. "Mason and Meredith." He says and drops them back in the box. None of us open the envelope, just stare at the last words we have from Zayn. Harry takes his card and walks towards the fireplace.

"Harry, no. Let me see it." Madi follows him, grabbing his arm.

"No, my last words from him were perfect. Anything I could have wanted. What if this ruins it?" He says and she grabs the envelope. Harry's firm grasp doesn't lighten, as his knuckles turn white.

"Just let me see it." She pulls a little harder. "Maybe one day you'll want it." She tries to reason with him to no avail. "I need you to do this for me, Harry." She steps in front of him. The room is completely quiet; everyone just waiting for Harry's response. He sighs and lets it go. "Thank you sweetie..." She hugs him, then lays a kiss on his cheek. I look down at my letter. The same thought comes to my head. What if this wasn't something I wanted to hear come from Zayn? I hand it over to Sam, who is already picking at the edge of her envelope. I look around, only after noticing Liam was gone. Louis is the next to open his letter.

Liam walks back from the hallway, with an open envelope is his hands. I looked over at him just for a look of reassurance. He just nods, with a small smile.

We all hang around the apartment, have a few drinks, and quietly talk for the remaining part of the day. "We should be going." I say to Sam, once Olivia starts to fuss. I start to gather her things, collecting them in her diaper bag. "Louis, riding with us?" I ask at the door. He nods and grabs his things.

"Thank you so much for having us, Katie." Louis says. He gives her a long hug, perhaps too long. "Talk soon?" He asks.

"I'd think you'd need this first." She scribbles a number down on a sticky note. Harry grabs Louis by the arm, pulling him away, but not before he grabs the note.

"Harry, enough!" Louis snaps back. He yanks himself away and follows us out the door. "Bye, Katie." The elevator was quiet and the tension was thick. "What is your deal Harry?" Louis says once the doors close. Harry ignores him, staring down at his phone. Then, his head snaps up.

"My deal?!" He yells a little too loud. "We lose our best friend and you're trying to pick up the nanny! That's my deal! I'm sorry I'm not too happy about you whoring around!" Madi grabs his hand, as he throws them while he talks. She tries shushing him, but that did nothing.

"I'm not whoring around! God forbid I talk to a female!" Louis defends himself. "Let me be happy! Seriously! I got a divorce a year ago! Just let me live Harry!" He steps closer to Harry.

"Why now?! Why do you have to go and fuck around?!" Harry steps up.

"I'm not fucking around! God, Harry! I haven't slept with anyone since I got divorce! I jus-"His screaming is interrupted by Olivia's piercing cry.

"Enough you two." I say in between them. The rest of the ride is quiet and the door finally slides opens. No one says a word as we go our separate ways. I follow Sam, with Olivia in her arms, through the dark parking lot. Louis takes the front and I sit in the back to get Olivia settled. Once everyone is buckled in, Sam pulls back onto the road to our hotel. "When do you think Harry will be normal again?" I ask, leaning up to the two in the front.

"I don't know but he's being ridiculous." Louis shakes his head. "I don't understand what I did wrong. Can't I like a girl who likes me? I'm 30 years old and I'm still being controlled by somebody else. Who knows if anything is really going to happen between us."

"He just needs some time. I think he'll be better once he gets home and back into his old routine. He'll some how work his way out of this." Sam says. The two of us agree and then the conversation is over.
