But you are everything I want,
and everything I need,
it's all because of you,
I can barely breathe
-Everything I want // 5 Seconds Of Summer

"That the last one?" Luke asked, emerging from the kitchen. Ashton nodded, setting the box down at his feet and accepting a kiss on the cheek from his fiancé.

"Hey, hey- you can save all that for later" A familiar voice called behind the couple, and a few seconds later a lilac-head popped into view. Safe to say, Michael had yet to give up his passionate hobby of dyeing his wispy locks insane shades.

"This is our house" Ashton protested, "We can do what we like"

"Not while we're here" Michael retorted, although he did step back to give the two some peace. They heard him trudge upstairs, no doubt attempting to balance three boxes at once and ultimately failing when a crash was heard.

Luke winced, "You don't think that was the fragiles box was it?"

Ashton shook his head, smiling slightly as he wrapped the blonde into his arms. The younger settled almost instantly,

"I made sure to put Calum in charge of those" The hazel-eyed boy explained "Don't worry your pretty mind" He stood doing nothing for a second, before he buried his nose into the thick blonde hair atop of Luke's head. It smelt of shampoo mostly- but also that extra scent of Luke that Ashton had grown to familiarise with as home.

"We're adults now" Luke grinned, standing up straight and linking their fingers together "We're adults. We're getting married, we have our own house and, maybe soon we uh-" He paused, licking his lips, a worried look glazing over his face, as Ashton smiled fondly.

"You can say it Luke"

"Might have a few kids?" He finished. Ashton's smile grew, as he pulled his fiancé closer once more,

"I'd love that" he opened his mouth to continue, however was cut off by a clatter from the floor above followed by a string of curses.

"Looks like not even Calum was responsible enough" Luke smirked as Ashton shook his head in remorse,

"He's twenty-one" The older boy groaned, but allowed the blonde to drag him up the stairs anyway.

"Okay, what the hell is going on?" Ashton demanded once he was on the landing.

"Rio and Michael were making out on top of that box!" Calum shouted, although there really wasn't a need, because everyone else was now silent. Ashton figured he was expressing his rage (which seemed to make a common appearance whenever Rio and Michael were around)

"We were not!" Rio defended, although his obscenely crimson lips spoke silently against him "Calum's just jealous, because he has nobody to make out with, boo hoo"

"Boo hoo? Really Rio?" Luke rolled his eyes at the choice of wording "You're twenty two, and you just used the phrase boo hoo?"

"I'm fucking peter pan okay" The green-haired boy objected, although his cheeks had definitely turned a darker shade of red than they previously were.

"No." Michael stated "You're fucking me."

"You're not fucking anybody until you help move this shit into the other room!" Calum was yelling once again, and honestly, Ashton felt eternally grateful for his stubborn friend. He couldn't think of any other person who managed to make Rio and Michael obey them so instantly.

"You starting to regret not asking Jack and Ben for help instead?"

"No way" Luke chuckled, shaking his head at the mention of his troublesome brothers "They'd have definitely given us a worse time"

Ashton grinned, but knew his fiancé was speaking anything but a lie,

"What we need" He stated "Is responsible people"

"So you're saying we should have asked our parents?" Luke laughed as he began to walk into the room where the other three boys had disappeared into only minutes prior,

"No way" The older boy said quickly, remembering how his mother had cried when he'd told her he was moving out. And then cried further when he told her he was engaged. Honestly, Ashton was pretty sure his mother wouldn't be able to cry again anytime soon, seeing as she'd completely wept herself out from two simple announcements. "We can do this" He continued adamantly. "We're mature, responsible adults who-"

The hazel-eyed boy paused as he stood in the doorway of the master bedroom, taking in the scene in front of him.

Rio and Calum stood on either ends of the room, tossing a football back and forth (giving Ashton slight heart palpitations every time the ball whizzed past the window), whilst Michael sat cross-legged on the floor, sorting through a box of Luke's DVD collections. Ashton thought he might set himself on fire.

"You guys get distracted so easily!" He whined, feeling himself starting to get worked up, however there was soon a hand on his shoulder, followed by another on his waist.

"Calm, Ash" Luke's gentle voice pacified through his ear, and Ashton felt himself relax almost immediately "We'll get it done okay, just- just chill."

The older boy didn't bother hiding his smile as he turned in the blonde's arms, arms automatically sliding around his fiancé,

"How did you manage to convince me to allow those three to assist us in moving?"

Luke chuckled, his laugh causing flutters in the pit of Ashton's stomach, a constant reminder that he was still so in love, even after all this time.

"Because you love me" The blue-eyed boy grinned, confirming Ashton's previous thoughts,

"Unfortunately" He teased, but by now there was a grin tugging at his own lips "You stole my heart Luke"

The blonde rolled his eyes but leaned forward to kiss the pout off his boyfriend's lips before grinning again,

"I've stolen your heart?" He laughed as Ashton nodded in confirmation "Honestly babe, I'm sorry."
