I've cut myself twice since the bullying started. Brandon and Melody weren't happy. I've thought about suicide once but never attempted it.

I walk to my locker and unlock it. Two notes lie inside. I pick up the first one

Loser!

I crush it into a ball and blink back the tears. I pick up the light pink note. It smells of rose, my favorite.

Every second I waste not talking to you is a second I lose in heaven

This person, my admirer, has been sending me these notes for months now but I still have no idea who it is. I thought it was Niall at first but I thought back to when he read the note in my bedroom. I was hoping this person would reveal himself to me before the Valentine's Day dance, which is on Saturday. He has 3 days to ask me.

It's Friday....nothing. No note. Looks like I'm going to the dance alone. Well Brandon and Melody are going but Toby asked Mel a week ago and Brandon is asking the girl he likes today. I look back at the clock. 1 minute. Ugh I'll go check one more time....for the fourth time today. I really want to know who it is ok! I stuff my books into my bag as the bell rings and rush out. I walk straight to my locker, ignoring Brandon calling me. I open the door and smell rose.

We don't know each other very well, but I would like to have that chance to. I wanted you to know on especially today, Valentine's Day, that there is someone out there that does care for you. I'm writing this note to you in hopes that you would like to be my date to the Valentine's Day dance. So...
Fallon Ashworth will you be my Valentine?

A broad smile washes over my face. I look across the hall, where Brandon stopped. He leans against a pillar with his arms folded and left leg crossed over his right. He is also smiling at me. I wonder why.

We stroll through the main entrance before meeting Mel. A crowd of people are gathered in an area. Brandon looks at me and I at him. We head over to see what's happening. I felt my heart drop. In the middle stands Niall and Stacy. Niall is holding a sign. I read the questions and placed the answers onto the blank space.

Stacy squeals and rushes into his arms. Niall smiles. I look at him and he turns his head, we make eye contact. I break it by looking down and then turning around and leaving with Brandon.
