The smell of popcorn makes my tummy grumble. The recliners have been extended, blankets and pillows lying on them. Bowls of sweets and chocolate litter the coffee table. A dozen cans of Cherry Cokes stand on the end table and a smiling Brandon stands with his hands on his hips.
"I kinda figured we wouldn't study." I run to him and wrap my arms around him.
"You're amazing." He hands me a Coke.
"Okay, Pretty Little Liars or Chicago PD?" He asks.
"NO! DON'T MAKE ME CHOOSE!" We spend the next 8 minutes running around the living room before crashing on the sofa. I lie down and rest my head on his lap, looking up at him.
"Who do you like better?" He asks.
"What do you mean?"
"Me or Mel?"
"Mel obviously." My laughter is muted by a pillow being pressed to my face.
"I'm kidding! I like you both too much."
"Ok... Me or Niall?" I sit up and look into his eyes.
"What?"
"Who do you like more? Me or Niall?"
"Bran? Are you jealous?"
"What?! No!" I lean over and kiss his cheek.
"Does that answer your question?"
While Brandon turns red as a tomato I grab the boxes and run. I trip over a shoe and face plant into the floor. Ouch.
"Are you okay???" Brandon rushes to my side. I shoo him away and lie on my back and start to think. I can't believe it's already September... Last time I checked it was Valentine's Day. Nothing much has happened, Stacey still hates me, Brandon is as sweet as ever, Toby and Mel... Oh right, they got together after the dance. And Niall... Is Niall.

It's been 3 weeks.
3 weeks since Niall left for his audition... It's tonight. I can't imagine how he's feeling if I'm nervous...
Niall:
I'm going to puke! I can't do this! Why did I sign up for this?! What's the name of the song I'm signing?! Gosh... WHAT'S MY NAME?! Ok ok ok it's Neil... DAMNIT FALLON!
"Good luck!" Someone says to me before guiding me to the stage. I look up at the row of Judges. It's now or never...
