We made it home without killing anyone. Atticus stayed over for dinner, which I burnt and they found amusing. So we ordered some pizza. When it came, a guy with bad acne and weird wings with holes in them took my money, then just flew away. I found this hysterical.

I set the pizza down on the counter then pulled out three plates. We had ordered just a plain pepperoni. "Come and get it!" I yelled as I set the plates on the counter. They were both picking a movie for us to watch. I walked back to the living room then I stopped right behind Atticus and Daniel. I never noticed a tv in the room before.

Atticus and Daniel were searching the movie rack beside the fireplace for a good movie. When they finally agreed on one, they stood straight and grinned like idiots at me. I stood there waiting, still holding my plate with the pizza as Atticus said, "you're gonna love what we picked Arianna." But there was humor in his voice so I doubted how much I would actually enjoy what they picked.

Daniel picked up a remote from the arm of the lazy boy and hit a button. Suddenly, a panel above the fire place slide across and revealed a plasma tv behind it. The tv moved forward on synched gears right into place. I stood there with my mouth open. For a town full of monsters, they are pretty technically advanced.

"That is so cool," I exclaimed. "Oh and pizza's on the counter." I sat on the couch centered to the tv and curled my legs under me.

I took a large bite of my pizza and moaned at its greasy goodness. At the orphanage, we had pizza only on birthday day where we celebrated everyones' birthday on one day.

From the kitchen Daniel asked, "do you want a drink Arianna?" I thought for a

brief moment before deciding on my favourite drink. "Grape soda please!" The guys both came back with their food and drinks. Daniel passed me my drink and I thanked him. Atticus sat beside me on the couch and Daniel in the lazy boy on the other side of me. Daniel pressed play and Atticus tried to stifle his laughs. 'Oh god what did they pick?'

Once the title came on, I groaned. 'Are you kidding me?' The guys only laughed harder at my reaction. "Saw? Really! A gory, dumb horror flick." I groaned again and leaned back in my seat. I had heard the younger boys talk about it at the orphanage.

A quarter way through the movie, I took all of our plates and garbege to the kitchen and sat on the couch again, a bit closer to Atticus. Then came the part where the guy started sawing off his foot. I yelled out "eww" and "gross" plenty of times as I hid my face in Atticus' shirt. I grabbed a fist full of his shirt and clung to him like he was a life vest. I heard them chuckle, but Atticus put one hand on the small of my back to comfort me.

Thats how the rest of the movie went. Something disgusting happened, then I went to Atticus. Finally, after a really stupid ending, it was over.

"How was the movie Ari?" Daniel said with a hint of humor in his voice. "It was disgusting and dumb!" I exclaimed, throwing my hands in the air. That earned a few laughs from them both. I checked my watch. "Woah, it's 11 already!" I looked out the giant window and indeed, it was night. Both of the guys stretched and yawned. "Won't your family worry about you Atticus?" I asked him sleepily.

Both Atticus and Daniel looked at eachother. "Well, I don't have a family to worry about me. I actually live here most of the time, but I sometimes crash at a shack not too far from here." Atticus shrugged his shoulders. So he was the one who lived here! that made a lot of sense.

I put a hand to my mouth. "Oh I'm sorry..." I said. Daniel slung an arm over Atticus' large shoulders. "Nah, don't worry about it. Atty is like my brother anyways." Daniel said. I nodded my head. "Alright, well I'm gonna head to bed. You two don't stay up too late."
