Picture of Caspar with my best attempt at blue hair. In this picture his hair was originally red so making it blue was a little difficult so you guys get purple. Deal with it lol.
Caspar seemed to disappear the second we walked through the doors. Disappearing into the large crowd and leaving me by myself.
I looked for Howard but I didn't see him or Angela anywhere. I knew David had said he was coming and I couldn't even see his head in the crowd as I tried to jump to see. My first school dance and I was ditched by the person who had brought me.
Caspar I'm going to kill you!
I pushed my way through people as I tried to find somewhere quiet where I could just just sit this whole thing out. I wasn't just going to go try and find a couple people in a sea of a billion but I suppose if they were really looking for me then maybe they would see me over here.
I stood by the bleachers, near the doors as I leaned against the wall and tried to bring no attention to myself. I also noticed almost everybody was wearing some sort of suit and mask, not everyone had masks but almost all the boys had suits and here I was with simple clothes on.
I was angry and confused and mainly angry but seriously confused as well and where the heck was Caspar!!!
Music was playing but I had no clue what song it was and I was internally panicking.
"Here." I heard Caspar say from beside me and I turned to see he'd gotten us cans of soda. "The punch is probably spiked by now so soda is probably our best bet." He said holding the can out to me. "Oh... Thanks..." I said as I took it from him. "Do you see Howard anywhere?" Caspar asked, standing on his toes to try and see him over all the other people.
"No I already looked. If he's here he's probably wearing a mask." I stated as Caspar huffed in annoyance. "Well then I guess it's just us. What do you want to do." He said walking back over to me. "Umm I don't know, I've never been to one of these things before." I said awkwardly as Caspar raised an eyebrow.
"Well then I suppose you should do all the generic things people do at these things. Why don't you go find one of the poor girls without dates around here and ask one of them to dance?" He said looking towards the bleachers. Well if I say no he's probably going to guess I have a crush on him and after that conversation in the jeep I need to lead him off my trail.
I got up and walked towards the bleachers seeing a few girls who might dance with me. "Hey so you guys decided to come!"
I turned to see David walking towards me in a nice button up shirt that didn't exactly match his basketball shorts. I suppose it was David though and as I looked past David I felt myself go stiff.
Harry, the biggest player on the basketball team AND the guy who had punched me walked slowly behind David before coming to stand by us with a intimidating glare pointed at me in particular. "You guys still hang out with him?" Harry asked sounding more terrifying than I remember.
"Aw leave Gavvy alone, he's part of the group now." Caspar said teasingly as he walked over, slinging a arm around me and ruffling my hair. "Hey!" I said as I tried to fix my hair slightly. "I still don't like him." Harry said rudely as I bit back a retort that desperately wanted to roll off my tongue.
"It doesn't matter if you like him or not, we're all friends here and nobody's going to start fights." Caspar said harshly as David gulped nervously and I looked between Harry and Caspar. I'd never heard Caspar sound so harsh.
"Anyways." Caspar said, pointing to somewhere in the crowd. "Found Howard."
Howard was dancing with Angela and I couldn't help but notice how nice Howard cleaned up. Without all his makeup and black clothes he looked actually quite handsome. Not that I liked Howard like that but I had to admit he looked pretty hot.
