I walked out of the theater talking to Caspar excitingly, Caspar just seeming amused that I was this excited about the movie. "You're more like the fox." I said as he laughed and looked down at me, "And you're more like the bunny."
I pouted and punched his arm playfully as we walked out of the mall and back towards Caspar's car. It was about 5:30 and the sun had already started going down, the orange of the sun shining brightly over the parking lot as I walked backwards to see the beautiful sky.
"It's so pretty." I said quietly as I watched the sun set lower on the horizon, not paying to my other surroundings as I tripped over a curb, Caspar catching me easily and smirking at me. "Maybe you should watch where you're going." He said teasingly as I blushed.
"Probably." I said as I got to my feet and we resumed our walk to Caspar's jeep.
I got in the jeep and quickly got my phone out before he could change the songs back to his old music. He started the vehicle and I quickly synced the radio to my phone, choosing one of my favorite trap songs. "What is this?" Caspar said scrunching his nose up in distaste.
"It's trap, it's like dubstep but better." I said as he shook his head at my music choices. "Alright what about this style of music," I said putting on a Troye Sivan song. "I guess this is okay, as long as it's not that crazy music." He said as we pulled out onto the road, the windows down slightly as the golden light from the sunset shown off the black interior of the jeep.
We eventually pulled into a fancy looking restaurant called Casa Mia, the small place looking pretty busy. "This is one of my favorite pizza places in the whole wide world, and if you don't like pizza they have pasta and if you don't like Italian style food I'm sure there's something else- or I mean we could go to a different-"
"Alright alright! You're spoiling the surprise of discovering food for myself thanks." I laughed as he smiled sheepishly, both of us walking into the restaurant and waiting patiently for the waiter to see us.
It was a little bigger than I'd thought it was, a back seating area providing more space along with a nice seating patio that was probably great in summer. "Two?" I looked to see a waiter smiling at us welcomingly. We followed her to a booth seat and sat down as she gave us fancy looking menus.
"Okay so this is one of the best pizzas right here, it has chicken and onions and olives and peppers but we can take the peppers off because I know you don't like peppers-" Caspar started going on but I stopped him.
"How did you know I don't like peppers?" I asked curiously, trying to remember when I told him that. "Gavin, if you can't handle violence you can't handle peppers." He said as I narrowed my eyes at him. "How does that make sense?" I asked as he smirked. "You don't like peppers though."
"Okay, whatever, you win, now I'm just going to let you order for me since you seem to know me better than myself." I said jokingly as he began going through the menu.
When the waiter came back Caspar listed off the food we wanted, some sort of fondue and a large pizza. Which seemed oddly small for as much as Caspar ate but maybe the pizza was bigger than I thought.
It was.
It covered almost all of the table and boy did it look good, Caspar really did know me better than myself because this pizza felt like it was from heaven. "This is so good." I said while I tried to get another piece of pizza, the cheese being difficult and not coming apart without strings.
