Just Like Magic

The Order and the Seer

"Well that was dramatic." Dumbledore stated causing Krystal to giggle. "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine, that was kind of exhilarating." She confessed.

This time he chuckled "yes, saving the world from evil tends to have that effect on people."

"One more?" She asked pleadingly. "It's at Sirius Blacks house."

He remained silent for awhile. "I think it would be improper to just show up on a mans steps, let me reach out to him first, announce my arrival."

Krystal nodded. "I would use Harry's owl, Hedwig knows where to find him if he isn't at Grimmauld place."

This time he nodded silently, he held out his hand to her and she took it, once their feet touched Hogsmead he spoke again.

"I dare say young Mr Diggory will have taken note of your absence today." Dumbledore chuckled.

"Cedric's a sweetheart, he really does care too much for me."

"You set your value too low if you think somebody cares too MUCH for you. You are a special young lady and Mr Diggory is one of the first ones to truly see it."

They walked into the castle and she found that lunch was just beginning.

"Join your friends Miss Montgomery." He said "I have a handful of letters to write, it seems the Order needs to be assembled once more."

"Can I join the Order of the Phoenix?" Krystal asked without thinking.

A little sparkle lit up in his eyes "I should expect you already have." He waved her off and then she made her way into the great Hall.

Of course as soon as she sat down with her friends everyone wondered where she had been.

Krystal told them Dumbledore decided to give her a private lesson to catch her up magically with everyone else.

"That so awesome, your learning one on one magic with Albus Dumbledore." Alicia exclaimed excitedly.

Cedric took a seat next to Krystal. He kissed her forehead while their friends continued to talk.

"Nah, it's still just extra lessons." Fred said.

"Yeah, who wants EXTRA lessons, it's rubbish." George finished.

Cedric gave me a questioning look so I filled him in. "While I agree with Fred and George I think it's kind of good, you'll learn loads my darling."

Krystal hated lying to them, even more so since she now had to really become a better witch or they would know she was lying.

She went to the rest of her classes and after dinner she had a letter laying on my bed.

Krystal didn't know how he did it but Dumbledore had convinced the Order of the Phoenix to come together tonight for the first time at The Black family home, and Krystal was going with them.

At ten she was sitting in the common room when she was summoned by Professor Dumbledore.

"Good evening Krystal, I just wanted to touch upon an issue." He announced. "I think it would be best if we told people you are a seer, even in our world filled with magic, no one will understand that you're from another world entirely."

Krystal nodded her understanding "yes professor."

Soon they were joined by Professor Snape and Professor McGonagall.

"What is this Albus?" Professor McGonagall asked extremely worried as she looked at Krystal.

"All will be explained Minerva, now I dare say we should be on our way."
