So I guess introductions are in order.

My name is Krystal Montgomery , I am fifteen years old and I live with my parents and younger brother in our happy little home in Dallas Texas.

I go to school and make fair grades, I have a few close friends and a black canary named Poe.

I'm obsessed with books, mostly fantasy.

I've read them all over and over, as an escape from my normal and boring life.

My favorite of course being the Harry Potter franchise.

. . .

"Are you really reading that again?" My best friend Roxy asked.

Roxy is my complete opposite but has Been my best friend since pre-k.

"I like it." I defended as I closed my weathered copy of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. "And don't act like you've never read it before..."

"Okay like once, and plus it was for our book report."

I rolled my eyes but smiled. "Well to be completely honest I'm pretty excited for summer to be coming up and I'm really hoping my parents will take us to Florida."

She gave me a curious look before she finally asked. "And what's in Florida that isn't in California?"

Roxy had invited me to spend my entire Summer with her at her Aunt's house in California, something my overly protective parents were still debating.

Granted they like Roxy even consider her a daughter, and they trust and respect her parents, it's just tradition that my parents take us to a new state every summer since I started school.

"Well I was kinda hoping they would take us to Orlando Studios so I can go to the Harry Potter part in their park." I confessed.

"You're such a nerd. I love you but you're so nerdy." She said with a small smile "well talk it over with your parents, wherever you guys end up going and beg them to let you come and spend the summer with me after your family vacation."

Then she put the back of her hand against her forehead "because I'll just die of boredom on the beach surrounded by hot guys."

I laughed, "you're so dramatic."

"Ooh I guess all my hard work in drama class is finally paying off."

The bell rung and we went our separate ways.

Later that night we had yet another family meeting about our summer plans.

"Ohio." My brother suggested, my father smiled and nodded.

"And what's in Ohio Trent?" My mother asked boredly.

"Well for starters, thats where my Buckeyes are." Trent boasted.

I rolled my eyes but stayed quiet.

Then he continued "the Pro Football hall of fame, and a ton of other museums and junk."

Of course my jock brother was trying to make our trip about sports, but I couldn't really talk since I was basically trying to do the same but with my own preferences.

Trent is a year younger than me but a foot taller, because of his height coaches are always trying to get him to play this sport and that sport turning my little brother into one of the biggest jocks in town now, and he isn't even in high school yet.

The family meeting was almost pointless, everyone had a place they wanted to go and we still couldn't all agree on one spot, the only good part was that my parents finally agreed to let me go with Roxy right after we get back from our family vacation.

Later that night I took a shower, brushed my hair and teeth then grabbed my iPad.

I walked over to my cushioned window seat and opened my library app.

I was already reading the prisoner of Azkaban so I picked up where I left off.

As I read I imagined what it would be like to roam the secret passages with Harry as he made his way to Hogsmeade.

I sighed and looked out my window.

The sky was dark and full of stars, then I recited the old star rhyme my mother had taught me when I was little.

"Star light, Star Bright, First star I see tonight, I wish I may, I wish I might, Have this wish, I wish tonight."

Then I squeezed my eyes shut and wished with all my heart we could go to Florida.

"I wish I could go to Hogsmeade." I said aloud.

I opened my eyes and blinked wildly while my eyes tried to readjust.

I yawned then decided it was time for bed.

Tomorrow is another day closer to the summer vacation.

A/N: In my book the Harry Potter films DO NOT EXIST. But I'm choosing to use the movie cast as the character casting in my book. Also Shailene Woodley is Krystal Montgomery.

Sorry if that was confusing lol. Comment or Vote if you like it.
