It was already late afternoon when I decided to go to the library after my last class.

I noticed a bunch of students getting pretty loud looking at the bulletin board that was outside the library so I decided to take a look at it later, I don't want to mess my hair by putting myself inside the noisy crowd.

I was looking for a book to read when I noticed this girl, hair in braid, braces, thick glasses and old fashioned shoes, looking in the same shelf I was in.

She smiled at me, she looks nice so instead of the typical me ignoring people, I nod at her, but of course, without smiling.

I reached for a book entitled, "Social Disease" a psychology related book for introverts like me.

"You also like to hide from people?" a small, feminine voice asked me.

I turned to see the girl I noticed earlier.

"Yeah." I briefly said.

"We're same." She said, smiling shyly.

I just nodded again and turned away. I did not get the book because I thought the girl wanted it too. I'll just go back here sometime.

When I got bored and decided to go back to dorm, the bulletin board that was earlier famous caught my attention. Only three girls are looking at it so I thought it's not going to hurt to read what's in there.

'TWO SENIOR TRANSFEREES, CAUGHT AFTER SEXUALLY ASSAULTING A FRESHMAN, EXPELLED.'

I felt my jaw drop.

'It was reported later yesterday afternoon that two senior transferees assaulted a freshman.'

I looked at the picture of the two accused men, only horrified to see the guys who almost assaulted me too, but thanks to Toni who saved me.

I put my both hands to my mouth, trying to push back the scream that was threatening to let go.

'It was said that the freshman was on her way back to her dormitory when the two seniors grabbed her into the farthest corner of the Lutgard Constance Building and started violating her.

Unknown to the assaulting seniors, a guard was currently on rounds when he heard the muffled screams of the freshman. When the guard found them, one of the two seniors was on top of the freshman and the other one was taking video, which later was confirmed to have violated the freshman first. It was then found out that the seniors smashed the head of the poor freshman with a baseball bat, cut her skin using scissors before cutting her hair. Apparently, they were not satisfied and they put a semi-lit cigar on the freshman's private.

The two seniors now are expelled and currently on-hold at the precinct, awaiting for the freshman to file a case against them."

I heard a gasp behind me, followed by muffled whispering.

"That was awful." The girl earlier with the nasty fashion said. "I'm glad they caught them."

Followed by her statement was an unpleasant rant from a mean girl who were also looking at the news.

"Don't worry, if ever they were never caught, you'll be the last girl they will ever want to assault. Betty La Fea." Her clique laughed and teased her more.

I turned around only to see the girl almost crying. She's pitiful.

I hate boastful girls who make fun of people, belittling them. I can't stand to be near them as much as I hate onions. Oh, they have something in common, they stink.

"You." I told the mean girl, "Those guys won't want you too. You know why? They're afraid to have AIDS." I saw her eyes flicked with anger.

"So what do you mean by that? That I'm a slut?!" She squealed.

I saw a crowd circling us. Toni, Luke and their other friends were there too.

"You said that yourself." I answered.

"You bitch!" She acted like she's going to pull my hair when 'Betty La Fea' came in between us, acting like she's going to protect me.

"Quite a show eh? Now everyone in here will witness who's going to be kicked out next." I spat the words in her face.

I heard the crowd laugh and saw the girl turn from blue to red. Some guy in the crowd shouted, "you deserve that, bitch!" to her. Wow, she's acquired haters I guess.

When I turned to walk away, I briefly stopped to look back at Betty. She was smiling like crazy.

"You're not coming?" I told her, raising my voice a little for the crowd was noisy.

Like a little girl she hushed her way to me out of the circle of students.
