This time it was Luke who mouthed 'what?' at me. All the others eyes were so wide that I could poke them out of their sockets.
Silence for 3, 2, 1. Then the class was filled with laughter.
Sir Lukas tried to hide his laugh by pretending he's coughing.
All the boys were laughing--- including Luke's friends --- and I hear the girls drew out a sigh of regret. Heh.
They totally bought it. I'm so proud of myself. Heh.
Until dismissal students keep peeking and laughing at him.
"Such a waste." I heard a flirt gay said, eyeing Luke from toe--- stopped at his jewel for a sec--- to head.
Sean tapped him in the back as Jake and Brian can't hold their laughter anymore.
Toni seemed--- amazed. He's not laughing yet his eyes told me he's surprised.
"You're so going to pay for that." Luke teased me.
"Well I'm so excited." I said in my infamous monotone and poker face.
"D-did you see the l-look on Sir Lukas' face?" Brian said between his laughter.
"Shut up you twerk." Luke told him, punching him in the stomach playfully.
"I already like you!" Jake told me as he, too, can't hold back his laughter.
"Well, forcing myself to like you all too, that's the trick." I rolled my eyes.
"Oh come on, you already like us." Toni said, already laughing too.
"You're wrong." I told him.
He shook his head and patted my head, "Liar." He whispered in my ears before he motioned his friends to go in separate ways.
No. I'm not right.
Yes, he is.
I already like them.
