I was brought back to present when I heard students passing by.

I shook my head, foolishly wishing to shake the memories off too.

I looked back at my phone which was still opened in my contact list. I only remember having saved only 8 contacts but it showed 9. I went to see the ninth number saved.

It was named as 'annms no. @ mom's'. I opened that contact and I remembered where I got it.

It's the number of the person who texted my mom about someone regaining her memories. I don't know who that person was talking about but I felt the nudge at the back of my head to save the number.

My thoughts were interrupted when Toni appeared in my side.

"What are you looking at?" He asked, peeking at my phone.

"None of your business."

"Oh, the cold treatment again?"

"Why, d'you prefer it hot?" I asked, a devilishly smile forming at my lips.

"I didn't know you were that. . . . wild." He said, smirking.

I gestured him to come closer to me and when we were only inches apart, I told him, "I could always buy hot coffee and spill it over your head," I paused when I saw him cringed, "or would you rather have a freshly boiled water splashed into your face?"

Before he could even react, I heard his friends approaching.

Who couldn't hear them? They were teasing us again, not to mention the volume of their voices which attracted the whole student body within a half kilometer radius.

"Kissing again? In public?" I heard Luke said before slamming his bag down the stone table.

"You guys realize that even Universities in this country has minors attending on it, right?" Brian mocked.

"This is a holy place of education, don't do it here. Get a motel instead." Jake snapped at us.

Sean was quiet but his face shows he's struggling to keep his laughter inside.

"No we weren't kissing. She's just threatening to burn my skin with either hot coffee or freshly boiled water." Toni calmly said, smirking.

"I prefer hot coffee." Sean said, acting innocent.

"Thank you Sean. That's pretty comforting." Toni said playfully punched Sean in the arm.

The boys have bought snacks in the form of chips and chocolates. We were in the middle of arguing if what's much better, Reese's or Hersheys --- I swear these guys had girly tastes in chocolates --- when we heard a commotion not too far from us.

The boys looked curious but as I typical self, I didn't care.

Students were in circle, and whoever caused the commotion was in the middle.

I continued to eat the chips while some of the boys with me stood up to see what's happening.

"You normally don't care about the world, don't ya'?" Luke nudged me in the elbow.

"Yeah, if they're fighting I don't care as long as I'm not involved." I said, boredom radiating from my voice.

"I figured that out." He laughed.

To distract myself from his glorious laugh, I tried to look at the center of the circle. I saw a strawberry blonde haired girl which looked familiar. When she turned around, I figured out she was the one who slapped me in the head with her laptop. Of course, she was back weeks ago.
