"Man, what is wrong with you?" Toni asked me.
I didn't answer. I felt so exhausted.
"First, you let me follow you, which you usually don't allow. Second, you have big circles around your eyes like you didn't sleep for a century. Third, you don't answer me with sarcasm which you always do. And lastly you went into our Algebra room," he sighed, looking at me with awe, "our algebra is Mondays and Wednesdays, today is Thursday."
Him intriguing me in our Politics class doubled my headache. It was when his friends still weren't there. And when they appeared, my headache was multiplied by ten times.
"Haven't you recovered yet?"
"I just had a nightmare!" I voiced out. It was a little loud based on the heads that turned to us.
Since this morning people was always staring at me, whispering and talking about me.
Oh I know it's all about me.
About what happened yesterday with that bitch hitting me with a laptop, the huge bandage in my temple, the red scratch in my cheek and maybe even the fact that these boys are always tailing me like little pugs.
"About?" Luke asked.
"Oh you know, just waking up in a hospital with horrid bruises and bumps, and scary flowers. Yeah that kind of nightmare." I said.
"Seems like she's slowly getting back." Brian smirked.
"Yeah note the sarcasm." Sean agreed.
Luke and Toni just looked at each other, like they know what it felt like.
"Why are you looking at each other like that?" I asked. "Are you in love with each other or something?"
Jake laughed loud and hard then all--- take note--- all the heads in the room turned to us. Including our professor.
"What's the matter folks?" Sir Lukas asked, his eyes searching us through his thick glasses for the crime we committed.
Jake's laugh came to a halt and looked at us with his silly puppy eyes.
"Sorry sir, it was Jake." Luke said, the others but Jake was smirking.
Jake mouthed a 'what?' at Luke and turned to Sir Lukas, "I'm sorry sir. My friend over here said something that was really funny." He pointed at Luke.
"I'm curious. Care to share us?" Sir Lukas' brow arched.
I peeked at them and saw them looking at each other, hoping for an answer to Sir's question.
Luke's eyes widened as Jake shook him for an answer.
Seconds ticked by and the silence was unbearable.
"Luke admitted that he's gay." I blurted out.
