I took a bath shortly after I reached my new home; the girl's dormitory. I was breathing hard under the cold shower. I felt my body tremble as I remember all unfortunate events of my first day of college. I'm beginning to think that I'm a jinx. What am I going to do from now on? What if those scumbags try to follow me again, and maybe who knows, no one's going to be there to help me? Uh, this sucks.

When I was ready to let it all out and cry, an impatient knock destroyed my wandering thoughts. "You still alive in there?", one of my roommates yelled. "Kind of." I replied. I heard chuckles coming from them.

I quickly finished bathing and the time I came out, the girls were animatedly telling stories to each other about how fun the first day has gone by.

"Oh my gosh yeah he's just so hot! The moment he entered the room, oh my gosh he was like, shining!!" Riz, my roommate who likes to use 'oh-my-gosh' in her every sentence, was smitten by a, according to her, a shining guy. The other girls, Anna, and Ynna was giggling and happiness stamped in their faces.

"Hey, I'm finished using the bathroom. Who's planning on using it next?" I asked, kind of politely because I'm so tired of the past commotions that I'm too weak for sarcasms.

"Nah we finished bathing long before you got home. We," Anna looked at the other two girls before she continued, "were just wondering what took you nearly an hour long inside."

"Really?" I took my phone from my bag and saw the time. Yeah, to be exact I was 52 minutes in the cr. I love cr's. They're called 'comfort room' for a reason, aren't they?

"You seem nice." Riz told me. "Unlike yesterday when you got here and earlier this morning in which you had this smug expression right in your face." I'm surprised she didn't use any omg's in that sentence. Omg.

"And you don't even speak to us properly either.." Ynna said.

Riz was kind of pretty. I guess in this room she's the prettiest among us. She has below shoulder length hazel brown hair, cute eyes, nicely defined jaws, her skin pinkish white, her lips were naturally the combination of red and pink, she's almost perfect except for the nose. It's kind of wide specially when she smiles. But overall, she's pretty.

Anna's like the typical face you can see in the crowd every day. She has common looks. She has medium large eyes, a medium nose, a kind of a thick lips and big teeth all combined in her wide face and she's so white---- I mean I like her skin. Creamy white. Her light shade of black hair was kind of shaggy and she always look so haggard. But despite of the common features, she's beautiful when she smile. She's also the dorkiest girl I ever met, like she's always cracking a joke.

I liked those two girls, and about the other----Ynna, I don't know. I sensed something I don't like from her. She also has the looks, but she has tanned skin. Literally, naturally, tanned skin. She has above average looks, though she's not pretty as Riz was. She has rebonded dyed brown hair, quite average eyes, nose and lips, and she's pretty chubby. I was sensing like she's kind of a pushy and childish type. She radiates this aura of 'clingy-ness'.

They said we're five in a room, but the fifth girl wasn't here yet. I was guessing she didn't want to be in a dorm. There were three double deck beds in our room, one of the double deck's upper bunk was not occupied for the reason it's too crowded.

I just flashed them the tiniest smile I could afford to make and I made my way up to my bed when Anna held me back saying, "Aren't you going to share us stories about your first day?"

"Uh, I'm not really into sharing stories, besides, there's nothing I could share." I patiently told them. "I'm going to sleep first."

I turned my back to climb up to my bed heard them whispering, "Okay, goodnight." Minutes later, I felt the lights die. I was not really sleepy, I just don't want my stories told.

I let myself relax, and before I plunged into darkness, I told myself to brace for tomorrow.
