Maine's Pov
Alden and I start to pretend that we are official. When me and Miguel met, my past comes back again in my mind, oh Maine stop thinking. I'm here at Starbucks waiting for Alden, after 5 minutes , he arrives, he look so worried, I don't know why does he looked like that.

"Alden!" I said

"Maine." He said as he hugged me. What's the problem of this guy.

"Alden, what are you doing?" I said

"Uhm, nothing I'm just happy to see you." He said

"You're a joker." I said

"Yeah, Uhm, Maine." He said

"Why, is there something wrong?" I said

"Uhm, Maine I want you to resign on our company." He said

I was shocked.

"Alden, why?" I said

"Because I don't wanna be your boss." He said

I was teary eyed on that time.

"Alden." I said as I hugged him.

"Maine, I want you to stay at my house." He said

"Huh?" I said shockingly.

"Yeah, Maine I want you to be the one I saw every morning I wake up, every day." He said

"But Alden , we're just pretending right?" I said

"Yeah , but let's make Miguel think that we  are really a couple." He said

"I don't want to Alden." I said as I walked away. I left Alden standing there inside. I drive my car to my home. I saw Andre standing in front of my house. I hugged him, he was surprised.

"Maine." He said

"Andre, I can't help it na." I said

"Why? What's wrong?" He asked

"I saw Miguel a while ago he looked surprised when he saw me." I said

"That guy who broke your heart, where is he? " he said

"He's in the company of Alden a while ago." I said

"Maine, listen what I'm gonna say ah?" He said

"Okay, what's that?" I said

"Maine, let's go to New York on your parents let's stay there for 5 months, you have to move on from Miguel, that guy who broke your heart." He said

"What?" I said

"Maine just follow that  will help you to move on, remember I'm your bestfriend, I will do the things that will be good for you." He said

"Okay, but what about Alden?" I said

"We'll be back after five months don't worry." He said

"Alden told me that I should stay in his house, but I don't accept it, I just walked away from him." I said

"Maine, why did he want you to stay at his house?" He asked

"He wants us to pretend that we're official couple. But when I think about Miguel and I on the past, all the pain were coming back again." I said

"Good , your decision was right Maine, now let's packed up our things we are going to New York tomorrow morning." He said

"Okay." I said

I go upstairs in my room and packed up my things, my phone was vibrating, it was someone calling I looked at it, it was Alden, I ignore his call , I want to get away from him for a little while. Don't worry Alden , I 'll be back after five months. I sleep early because our flight is tomorrow so I began to sleep.
