The days grew longer and longer after he wouldn't wake up. I spent all of my time sitting next to him while he lay on a metal table in the drop ship. Apparently a grounder hit him in the head. I don't know, I wasn't there, but I should have been.
I held his hand in mine. I lost count of how long it's been, but I knew each second he didn't wake up it was less and less like that he would. Clarke walked in with a pitiful look on her face. I must have look so pathetic, staring at him body.
"Please drink some water, (Y/N)." She whispered, handing me a small cup full of water.
I took it in my free hand and sipped, "Thank you."
She gave me a sad smile and set a hand on my shoulder, "Maybe try talking to him, I'm sure he's lonely." and with that she left.
I looked at his face. Pale and lifeless. His chest rose and fell every few seconds, but it seemed like he wasn't breathing at all. Like he was already dead.
"Bellamy," I whispered, scanning his face, "I don't know if you can hear me. I miss you so much, Bells. I miss your smile and laugh and I even miss your stern voice. I would give anything to see those again. To hear them."
I choked back a sob and gripped his hand, "You need to wake up because I can't do this without you."
With that I got up an left his side for the first time in days. I wandered outside and behind the drop ship, a few eyes following me. I sat behind there and cried. I cried for everything I was worth.
After a while I was left just lying in the grass, staring at a tree. I heard my name being called, but I ignored it. Eventually it got louder and louder until the person found me. It was Clarke.
"(Y/N), it's Bellamy," she started as my heart jumped in my throat. He was dead, wasn't he? "He's awake!"
My eyes widened and I stood up and sprinted around the Drop ship and until I bursted through the entrance to see Raven coaxing water into him. He pushed her away and looked at me. I looked at him and smiled as I felt tears pouring down my face.
"I can't do this without you either, Princess." He said and I couldn't take it. I ran over to him and pulled him into a big hug. Never have I ever felt this happy and relieved and scared all at the same time.
"Don't do that ever again, Bellamy." I whispered.
I felt him smile, "I promise, princess."
