You're the only one I trust to do this.

The grounder stuck a knife in my leg. It hurt like a bitch, but the pain wasn't the problem, the poison was. Linkin said the only way to induce the antidote was putting it straight into the heart. Clarke found a large needle and used Monty's moonshine to clean it. I laid on the cold, metal table, terrified.

I felt a hand slip into mine, "It's going to be okay, (Y/N)."

I shut my eyes and nodded, but his words brought me little comfort. A needle straight to the heart was most likely going to kill me if the poison won't get to me faster.

I heard Clarke's voice ring out, but I couldn't quite make out what she said. Everything was getting hazy and it was hard to breath. I was covered in a sheet of sweat and I was freezing cold.

I felt the pressure leave my hand and I swallowed nervously. I kept my eyes closed as I felt someone take off my shirt and apply something cold right over my heart, which was beating a mile a minute.

"Okay, (Y/N), look at me." I heard Bellamy say. I cracked my eyes open to meet with his. There was a sense of fear and panic in them, I knew it, but all he showed me was a layer of calm. They connected with my big, terrified eyes.

"Are you sure you want me to do this?" He asked, holding the needle close to my chest.

"You're the only one I trust to do this." I whispered and shut my eyes.

"Okay, hold her down!" Someone shouted and I felt hands pushing me to the table.

Bellamy whispered something under his breath as the tip of the needle scraped my skin. I braced myself and clenched my fists then he stuck the needle in.

A whimper flowed past my lips as he went deeper and deeper. The pain was extraordinary and I arched my back, trying not to scream.

"Clarke, the antidote." I heard Bellamy say, but it was all so hazy, "(Y/N), baby, you need to stop moving."

I tried my best but as soon as they started pumping in the antidote I lost it. It was like fire hit my skin. Everything blossomed into a new kind of pain. Every breath of air I took shattered my lungs and every time I screamed, my body tensed into this urethra of horrible, horrible pain.

I opened my eyes in a quick motion and sat up, looking around. I saw Bellamy grasping at my hand and sleeping on my stomach. I looked under my shirt to see a large bandage around my entire upper body.

"Bellamy." I rasped out, wincing because my throat felt raw. He sat up with a start, his eyes now wide with fear.

"Are you okay? How do you feel? Let me get Clarke." He was about to stand up before I tugged on his hand and he faced me.

"Thank you."

He smiled and seemed to let out a breath, "I'm so happy you're okay."

"Me too, Bell."

We stayed watching each other for a moment, just small smiled playing at our lips.

"Go get Clarke." I whispered and let go of his hand. He chuckled and nodded, sprinting out of the Drop ship.
