Next day Shafna arrived to her home. When she entered her home, she felt an unusual silence. Her mom received her at the door with a forced smile and puffy eyes.

Shafna went into the room to keep her luggage. Her sister Reena was sitting on the bed hugging her knees. She was deep in thoughts that she didn't even acknowledge Shafna coming into the room.

Shafna went back to her mom and asked how and when her sis came back. Her mom told her the reason.

" That guy was not ready to marry Reena. He didn't even love her. He is a cheap wrong guy. His motive was not marriage. She understood that and came back. "

Shafna thanked God since her sis understood about that cheater. Her mom continued,

" But I'm much worried about everything that happened. How many days can I keep this a secret? What if our relatives know? I cannot face them. How am I going to arrange her marriage? This wicked love... I never want to hear about it again. "

She was shouting in frustration.

Shafna stood there without words just looking at her mom. She felt so guilty for what she did.

Till that incident, Shafna thought she would get a right situation to talk to her parents about her love. But everything changed in a day. Her hope was now shattered.

Shafna stayed two more days at home before she return. She missed all those fun filled moments and the laughter that echoed in the walls when all the four were together.

An awkward silence filled their home. No one was facing the other. It was more like a home mourning over some death.

Shafna didn't have a clue what was happening in her life.

' Oh God!! What's this? What's going on in my life?? Is it a sin to love someone? I chose the right person for me. But still I couldn't help. My sis chose the wrong person and because of that, my parents got a wrong perception about love. What am I going to do now? I cannot live happily with Hudson, killing my mom. .I know I'm going to hurt Hudson but I don't know what else to do. '

Shafna was fuming within herself.

She came back to Chennai. She told Hudson everything that happened in home. The situation was still worse that they couldn't change their decision.

It was Hudson's birthday. Shafna was sad since it was the last time she would be with him for his birthday.

She gifted him a full sleeve shirt with white and lavender stripes. She always liked him to wear formal shirts. He looked so handsome and smart in formals.

They had dinner together in a hotel. The smile on their lips and the twinkle in their eyes when they were together was missing now.

Shafna was holding his hand tightly not willing to leave. Hudson was trying to bring up some conversation to make the situation normal but ultimately failed.

Shafna's course was getting over and she was about to shift to her home in a span of three days. She was packing her things. Seeing her packed suitcase, she burst out in tears.

Shafna wanted to spend a full day with Hudson before leaving Chennai. She felt like to visit all the places she roamed with him and feel those loving moments together.

With her packed luggage, she also wanted to pack all the sweet moments with Hudson. If she left to her hometown, she knew that she cannot meet him.

' God please give me strength. I don't know how I'll be without seeing him, without talking to him. Without him. I'll miss him like anything else in this world. I thought to give all the happiness of this world to him but now I'm just giving him the pain. I'm worse than Joanna. If I couldn't stand for my decision, I shouldn't even fell in love with him. I couldn't forgive myself. I'm sorry Hudson. Please please forgive me. My love on you will never fade away even if I leave you. '

Only one more day for her to spend in Chennai. Hudson called her the previous night. He was talking to her the whole night.

" Hey Shafna. "

" Hmmm. " I wanted you to call my name daily. Whenever I hear my name from you, I wonder whether my name was that sweet.

" Have you finished packing? "

" Yes. " Finished packing your memories with me. Thinking about how happily I packed when I was coming to Chennai. Now packed to leave you totally.

" When is your bus Shafna? "

" Day after tomorrow evening 4:30. " The time given for me to leave you.

" OK. " She felt his pain.

" Will you come to bid farewell to me?" To bid final good bye to me.

" Sure I'll be there. But one condition. "

" What's that?" Say that you'll come with me and talk to my parents.

" You should not cry. I wanted to save your smiling face in my heart. "

" I'll try. " I cannot bring a smile on my face. I'm sorry I cannot fulfill your condition.

" That's good my.... " He stopped something to spill out his mouth.

" Hmmm. " Say that's good my girl.

" Get ready tomorrow by 7:00 a.m. I'll be waiting near your home. "

" OK Hudson. "

" You have to come beautifully like my Shafna. No sad eyes and no fake smile. This one day, we don't have any future. Only present. "

" OK as you wish. " I really wish that we don't have a future. A future without you. I wanted the time to be freezed so that I'll be with you.

" Say something. "

" Are you angry on me?" Shafna asked him.

" Why should I be angry on you? "

" Its all because of me and my family. I shouldn't have left you at any situation. " she controlled her tears.

" I understand Shafna. Not every girl will do this. I know how much you love me. And I also know how much you love your parents. You're more hurt than me. At least I'm happy that a girl like you has been in my life. My love on you will never change. "

Shafna wanted to hug him and just die in his arms.

Hi..

Do you think Shafna and Hudson will get back together??

You may get angry on them for what they're doing. Is there anyone who think what they have been doing is right??

Anyone who is interested in Tamil poems, I suggest a book called ' Thoorigai' written by CecilJ. It is really awesome.
