Chapter 8: Drew, My Way

           Ok so my only best friend in the grade is Logan and he is busy with being a Dreamer and with hanging out with Minnie, Nina, and the other Dreamers. He seems to have all of his time taken up and he doesn't have enough time for me. That doesn't mind me though. I am very busy with busy schedule too. I don't have a lunch period because I decided to take up three fine arts classes. I am in Band, Choir, and Strings. My guardian, Celio tries to help me out as much as he can but even he is busy with the Storage System. He was helping his group of friends with the system and other big projects that they have to do. That leaves me on my own unfortunately. I can handle it though. One day, the Dreamers were being attacked and the creatures attacking them were after Logan's Realm Crystal. He was running through the hallways with Minnie who had out her Icey Wind Keyblade and she was trying to protect him from a ghost solider. The ghost solider tried to attack Minnie, but Logan distorted the gravity around them and he dropped his Realm Crystal. The Crystal rolled over to me and I picked it up interest. Logan looked for the Crystal as he held onto Minnie and they began to search for the Realm Crystal. Minnie found it in my hands and she looked afraid of me. Logan turned his attention to where she was looking at. He saw the Realm Crystal in my hands.

"Drew give me the Realm Crystal back" said Logan in calm yet demanding tone in his voice as he held out his hand to me.

"No I don't think so" I told him.

Minnie rushed over to me and tried to grab the Realm Crystal from me. I pushed her down to the ground and Logan ran to me and he tried to get his Crystal back. I wouldn't give it back and then the next thing I knew, the Crystal created a portal and it sucked us in. I woke up in a ruined school and Logan was holding Minnie in his arms and he was injured.

"Logan, Minnie, wake up!" I told them and Minnie stirred up and she was shocked to see me.

"G-get away from us!" she threatened as she summoned her Icey Wind and pointed it at me.

"Look I didn't mean to cause this and I want out of this as much as you do, but we need to work together if we want out of this place!"

She didn't seem to trust me that much and she moved Logan's arms around her and she got up.

"We'll work together and once we get the Realm Crystal and help Logan and get back to school, you leave him alone!" she said in serious manner.

She ran to the Cafeteria and went to go find some water and food. I followed her and she stopped in front of the doors of the Cafeteria.

"What's wrong?! Don't you want to help him?!" I asked her in a loud manner.

"Yes, but we need to watch out for that!" she answered as she pointed her Icey Wind at the person in a black coat.

She ran to the drinking fountain and picked up a bottle on the side of the drinking fountain and she filled the cup up with water. She ran back to where I was and we made our way back to where Logan was laying. Minnie dumped the water on his face and he jumped up from his sleep. He smiled at Minnie sweetly as she scolded him for scaring her. His expression soon changed when he saw me.

"Drew, what were you thinking?! Taking the Crystal like that is dangerous!" he said to me as he pushed Minnie behind him.

"I didn't think it would lead us to here" I protested against him.

"Look when Jesa and Perry touched the Realm Crystal, they opened the gates to the other 16 realms! No one but Logan can control the Realm Crystal, so why would do you think you can control the Realm Crystal?!" said Minnie as she ran in front of Logan.

I was speechless. She really did care for him and she defended him.

"Ok fine! Where should we start looking?" I asked them.

Minnie looked at Logan and then she ran to the Chapel to look for the crystal, but there was nothing in there and I knew that.

"Can't you sense the Realm Crystal anywhere, Logan?" she asked in a pleading tone.

He thought about it for a moment and then he moved around the Chapel and then he snapped his fingers as if he remember something important.

"The Realm Crystal is in the gym!" he said and he took Minnie's hand and they headed for the gym and I followed them.

We ran to the gym and the gym was destroyed into pieces.

"Is this a Realm Logan?" I asked him.

"I am not sure but we need to find the Crystal before anyone else finds it"

We ran around the ruined gym and we looked for the crystal. We couldn't find it for a while. We kept moving the ruined equipment and we still didn't find anything. I took out my wand and then I decided to create a dark void that sucked up the ruins. Logan and Minnie told me to stop, but I kept looking for the crystal. I stopped using the spell when I found the crystal!

"Here it is!" I said in a triumphed manner.

Minnie glanced at Logan in a worried manner and he slowly picked up the crystal. He looked at it.

"Ok it is going to take some time to open a portal back to our world, so make sure nothing gets to me ok?" asked Logan as he began to charge up his powers.

"Sure thing!" said Minnie as she summoned her Icey Wind.

"You two won't be going anywhere!" said Xigbar as he appeared behind them. "Specifically the Dreamer and Keeper. You two would help me out a lot with our plans"

"Logan you have to hurry" said Minnie as she charged at Xigbar.

Xigbar took out his snipper and tried to snipe Logan down but Minnie blocked his attack and created an icy shield around her and Logan.

"Drew you have to stall him!" said Minnie as she tried to hold the shield up.

I looked at her and saw how scared she was so I decided to help her out. I tossed out Skiploom and I told him to use "Razor Leaf" against Xigbar's space bullets.

"Get out of the way boy! You don't want to die for something that doesn't matter to you" said Xigbar.

He did have a good point. Logan finished making the portal back to home.

"Drew! Come on! We have to go home!!" said Minnie as she made her Icy Wind disappear.

"Ok you could help me and get them!" offered Xigbar as he pointed his sniper at me.

Logan and Minnie looked worried and I returned Skiploom and ran over to them. Xigbar sighed he tried to snipe me but I got into the shield and I crossed over the portal and went back to my World. Logan and Minnie followed me back into our world. Logan hugged Minnie as the other Dreamers rushed over to them. They asked them if they were ok and they were which didn't surprised me as much. I decided to leave. I put my hands in my pocket and went to my next class.

Minnie noticed me leaving and she called after me "Thanks Drew!!"

I smiled on the inside and then I replied to her "Next time, we do it my way"

I left them after I said that and I didn't look back at them.
