Chapter 63: Chloe, Too Much Work

              Why did I decide to give myself so much work? I hate college board. I hate work in general. I have lost at least 2 days' worth sleep. It's a Friday. Soon the week-end will come. Then I will be able to finally rest and sleep for al of Saturday. I really envy those Dreamers. How on earth does Nina convince Mr. O to let them have extensions on everything? Actually, I think Perry, Ben, and Jiwon convinced him. I can't really see any other Dreamers asking nor receiving the extensions, especially Connor.

"Do you want any kind of help?" Courtney asked with a gentle smile.

"Sleep" I answered as my head hit my desk.

"You're almost there. Come on, you can do it" she reassured me as she rubbed my back in a comforting manner.

Before I could say anything against that statement, a portal opened behind me. Oh, dear gods, please let it not be those two brothers.

"CHLOE!" they shouted in delight as they stood behind me.

This day cannot get any much worse.

"Are you ok? You look tired my comrade!" Papyrus asked in delight as he placed his skeleton hand on my shoulder.

"I am tired" I said with my voice mumbled against the desk.

Courtney silently chuckled at me.

"Don't worry. You can make it. This isn't nothing compared to what you've faced" Sans said coolly as he sat down on my couch.

Why do they have to be here of all days when I am very tired? Just why? I didn't want this. Couldn't they bother our prince for today? He prefers to hang out with them more than I do. All I have to do is protect their realm from the forces of darkness and that includes protecting Logan.

"Look, I just have a lot of work to do today. I can't relax just yet" I told them seriously as I lifted my face up from the desk.

It was only 1:15 pm. I wonder what else I have to do for the day. I took out my computer and recalled the essays I have due tonight. Well, I better get started. I began to proof read my essays while Courtney talked with Sans and Papyrus. She was very helpful when I needed peace and quiet.

"Alright. One down, two more to go" I whispered to myself as I opened up my Model UN paper.

Well, this won't be too bad, but it will take a while. It was almost time for my next class, so I closed the file and went to my class. It was oddly quiet. I checked the room, and I didn't see any of my classmates here. That's odd.

"Where is everyone?" Courtney asked as she stood ay my side.

"I don't know. I don't even see Dr. Wehrli here" I said as I looked behind his desk.

No, he wasn't here, and he wouldn't dare leave his classroom when class was starting. Did Joey finally convince the school to let us have Senior ditch day? That can't be it. It must be something else.

"Swellow fly around here. Maybe you can find something" Courtney said as she released Sewllow.

Her Swellow was powerful and pretty wise. I can see why she trusts him out of her whole Pokemon team. Swellow flew out of the classroom and went around the school. Actually, where did Sans and Papyrus go?

"They were just here" Courtney said suspiciously.

What is going on today? I just wanted to finish the day peacefully. I didn't want anything destructive or loud to happen. The two of us left the room and went to find them. I wonder if it has something to do with the Dreamers not being here. We didn't need them as much to protect our school anymore. When the Dreamers left our school, we were tasked with protecting it. There was a cause to this though. Since the Dreamers were gone, we've had to deal with some unpleasant enemies as well. Some of these enemies vowed revenge against the Dreamers for being defeated by them.
