I was cooking new treats for my advisory. I wanted to try out new recipes and ask my friends if they were good or needed more improvement. Nina and Gabby told me my cooking was fantastic but I wanted to ask my other friends their opinions about the food.
"There will be a Gong Show!" Mr. Rummage shouted as the rest of the school screamed with joy.
"What's a Gong Show?" I asked Gabby.
Gabby shrugged and then I looked at Santana.
"I think it's a talent show" she said as the students left the Chapel.
We followed them out and the three of us walked to the cafeteria. We saw Connor sitting with Mr. Rummage and handing out flyers to students about the Gong Show. We walked up to the table.
"Hey guys! Are you going to do the Gong Show?" Connor asked as he shoved a flyer at Gabby's face.
"Well, I was thinking about it. I am just not sure yet" Gabby confessed.
"I don't think I will. I don't like to perform in a big crowd" Santana admitted.
I thought about it. I would like to make my cooking skills known to the whole school.
"I'll take one!" I stated loudly.
Connor jumped back a bit, but he gave me a flyer.
"Alright, but what are you going to do?" Connor asked me curiously.
"I will perform a cooking demonstration and feed it to the judges!" I stated proudly.
Gabby and Santana clapped for me and Connor cheered for me.
"Ok, but we will need you to practice this in the Chapel at least three times" Mr. Rummage said seriously, "I don't want this to be the first Gong Show that caused the school to be burned down"
I nodded and then the bell rang. We each left for our classes. I had a free period, so I went with Gabby to the art room. P.I.X.A.L and Sprocket greeted us with smiles on their faces.
"Judging by your jubilant expressions, I presume you had a wonderful time at break?" P.I.X.A.L asked with a smile.
"Yeah, because Noel is doing a cooking show for the Gong Show!" Gabby proclaimed as she smiled at me.
"Woah! Cool! Can I help you?" Sprocket asked excitedly.
"I suppose so. I just don't know what to cook for them!" I shouted loudly as I paced around the art room.
Gabby took out her camera and walked to the dark room with P.I.X.A.L. Sprocket was watching me.
"There must be something I can make them" I whispered.
"How about I list of some foods and you pick?" Sprocket suggested.
"Yes! That could work!" I answered excitedly.
"Ok, soup" Sprocket suggested.
"No, that would take a while" I said simply.
"Macaroons" Sprocket said curiously.
"No, I would need an oven" I said sadly.
"Then what about a fired food?" Sprocket suggested with a smile.
"No! That's not what I want to make for them!" I shouted annoyed with the idea.
"Well, then what about a cake!" Sprocket suggested with enthusiasm.
I thought for a moment. A cake. I could decorate the cake on stage and bake it! This could work!
"That's a wonderful idea!" I told her with a smile on my face.
