You know, you think after many years of school and magic practice you would think I would be good at it. No! That is the exact opposite of what has happened to me. I was still struggling with school and my magic. I do the work and study but I also have soccer practice and other important things to do like shopping and hanging out with my friends. However, thanks to Nina's friends, the Dreamers, they've made it hard for me to do anything!
"Hit the deck!" Connor cried as he jumped behind a table in the lunch room.
Alia and I walked passed the Dreamers.
"What is it this time?" I asked her as I looked at my phone.
"Something about an interdimensional monster" Alia said with a sigh as we sat at a table.
We waited for our friends to come as we heard explosions coming from the cafeteria. However, we did nothing. The Dreamers would usually handle this or they would transport themselves with the enemy to another location. Honestly, this was getting annoying. It was fun in the beginning when we could miss school and the teachers wouldn't give us homework. However, after a few years, the attacks kept coming and the teachers decided to give us homework.
"Oh, hey Gracie! (Grace G)" Alia shouted as she waved her hands.
Gracie walked with Hope and Lillie. We sat at the table and then we took some of our textbooks and helped each other with Chemistry, Potions, and Math. Those were classes we struggled with the most. We were trying to study for the Chemistry test, but the Dreamers were being loud!
Lillie whispered "What are we going to do?"
"I don't know" Gracie replied with a sigh.
"Can we ask them to keep it down?" Hope suggested.
"Maybe, but I doubt they would keep quiet" I said with a shrug.
"Well, maybe I can try" Lillie said determinedly as she walked to the cafeteria.
I honestly don't know how this was going to end. We waited for Lillie to come back, but nothing happened. Actually, it became very quiet... What is going on?
"I'll go and see what happened" I said to my friends as I exited the cafeteria.
I was hoping to see Lillie standing above the Dreamers and their enemy, because she cast a sleeping spell over them. However, this was not the case. I was just shocked to not see the Dreamers and Lillie frozen in place!
"Uh, Lillie, are you ok?" I asked her frozen form nervously.
What is going on? I carefully walked around the Commons and saw a few other students frozen in place. Ok, so this isn't right. I nervously walked back to the cafeteria, but I only found my friends frozen in place as well!
"Oh, come on!" I exclaimed slightly annoyed with all of this.
This is really getting annoying with the Dreamers. They better fix this before my Chem test! I stormed to the Main Commons to all our rooms, but everyone was frozen. I began to panic as I walked out of the Main Commons.
"Guys, what's going on?" I called out to them.
I didn't hear anyone calling me.
"Oh, I missed one" a woman said as she appeared behind me.
"Who are you?" I asked as I faced her.
"Medusa. I was looking for an angel, but those Dreamers were in the way! I cast them back to Skyworld and had my minions take care of them. I didn't expect to miss one of their pesky friends" she said as she held her staff.
