4 Weeks Later
My eyes opened to a bright light shining right in my eyes. I rubbed my eyes and slowly sat up, not even remembering what happened last night.
I scratched my head as I looked over at each sides of the bed and I know I didn't sleep with anyone at least.
But what I did see was Mike sleeping on the couch. I looked around a little bit more and I was in a hotel room. My hotel room.
I stood up and went to the bathroom. I took a quick shower and got dressed.
When I finished, shockingly Mike was still sleeping. "Wake up." I demanded, shaking him.
"20 more minutes." He squinted his eyes but shortly after closing them. I sighed and left him there as he spines around in the couch in a effort to make himself comfortable.
I walked to the table near the exit and grabbed my car keys, walking out of the room afterwards.
I took the elevator down to the parking lot and quickly scanned through every aisle of cars to find mine.
"Where the hell is my car?" I mumbled to myself, still looking after what seemed like hours of searching for it. Shortly after, I finally found it and got it in.
I didn't have anywhere to go so I decided to drive to the performance center. I parked the car in the lot and entered the center and immediately saw Dolph's bleach blonde hair.
He stopped wrestling with whoever he was wrestling with and left the ring, noticing that I was here.
He walked over to me, "Finn, buddy!" He smiled, widely before giving me a quick hug. "Hey, Dolph." I greeted him, smiling as we broke the hug.
"Do you remember what happen yesterday?" I asked, scratching the back of my head. He looked at me cluelessly. "I don't know. I remember going to a bar and Mike throwing up but other than that, that's pretty much it,"
He stood silent for a bit and then realized something, "You came at perfect timing. Bayley and Sasha are coming." He added, slicking his hair back.
Then right after his sentence, both of them walked into the center. "Hey, boys." Bayley greeted us with a smile before hugging Dolph. "Hi." Dolph hugged her back rather quickly.
Sasha's eyes met my gaze and she smiled before instantly hugging me.
"Looks like someone missed me." I chuckled as I hugged back. "I did....sorta." She said smiling, breaking the hug. "Christmas is next week." Bayley started in excitement as I started overhearing Dolph and her conversation. "And what about it?" Dolph asked, confused.
"The tree is going to be lit up and we are in New York City." She continued, smiling. "So you want to go see the tree?" He asked, still confused.
"Dolph, I know you're dumb but not that dumb," I joined in on the conversation. "She's obviously telling us that she want us to go with them to see the tree." I finished as Bayley was nodding her head.
"Oh ok I get it now." He started but didn't understand it completely. "So basically you want us to go with you to the tree light in Times Square?"
"Yes!!!!" All of us shouted in unison as it scared Dolph.
"Alright geez." He sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose. "Anyways let's wrestle." Bayley began walking towards the ring. "Come on Finn." Sasha added, gesturing me to follow her. "I don't have the proper clothes to wrestle though." I spoke to her whilst looking at my phone.
"You better find some because it's going to be Champion vs Champion." She grabbed my hand and began pulling me as I looked up at her. "I'm pretty sure no one that's going to step in that ring is championship worthy ok? The only championship worthy is this guy." I pointed at myself and taunted while they all booed.
"Real funny. Get some clothes cause' now I'm gonna beat your ass." She stated, confidently, crossing her arms. I went to the locker room and checked if I had any clothes that I could change to. Luckily I did.
I changed into some shorts and a WWE shirt. I went back and Dolph and Bayley were wrestling in the other ring and Sasha was leaning against the turnbuckle. I found myself staring at her and analyzing her. She looked beautiful today. Stop Finn. You can't catch feelings.
"Do you want to practice or wrestle for real?" I questioned, as I climbed onto the apron. "Whatever you want." She shrugged, smirking at me. "Do you want to learn some other moves or something?" I asked, climbing into the ring. "Ok."
I taught her some moves and she was doing pretty well. If you want me to be completely honest, she was doing absolutely amazing.
"I'm getting kinda sweaty so if you don't mind I'm gonna take off my shirt." I smirked, taking off my shirt, knowing that she was going to stare.
Once it was off, I saw her staring and biting her lip. "You like what you see?" I cockily smirked as she grinned. "Doesn't everybody?" Her smile changing into a smirk as I laughed. "Not the guys," I joked as she laughed. "They get jealous." I added as she laughed even more.
We continued practicing and we ended it. "Thanks for teaching me new moves." She drank some water, breathing heavily. "No problem..... I was wondering if you want to go eat or something?" I asked, picking up my shirt from the ground.
"Ok.......wait as a date?" She asked, realizing the important question. "Whatever you want it to be." I replied, smiling. "At what time?"
"At 7 or 8 or 9 or 10 or-"
"Alright I get it. At 7." She said, annoyed. "Dress casual."
"What if I want to dress formal?" She asked, jokingly. "That's fine but if people at the place ask me 'why is she dressed like that?' I'm gonna say that I don't know you." I joked, smiling as she laughed. "Fine I'll dress casual." She said, giggling.
"So I'll see you at 7 then." I said, smirking. "Yes now go get dressed."
I left the ring and waved at her. She responded with a wave back.
"Dolph, I'm out." I said, holding up the peace sign. "I'll see you later." He said before I walked out the center. I went to my car and drove to my apartment.
Yes I know I get paid a lot of money but I'm really a shy, lonely guy. Yeah, I might hang out with the guys, do our contests or whatever but I really don't like having a big house that I'm only gonna live in.
I feel like if I do get into a committed relationship, then I'll get a house for both of us to share. Obviously I'm not gonna buy a house for a girl that I'm just getting into. A committed one. One that I know is gonna last.
I finally made it to my apartment and walked in. I walked to the bathroom and took a cold shower to relieve any soreness that I might have tomorrow. I put on a tank top and some boxers and jumped on my bed. It was currently 3:24. I watched old WWE pay per views to kill time.
Without me even noticing it was already 6:17. I sprung up from the bed and dressed myself.
I grabbed my keys and ran out the door. I ran to the car and wait I don't even know where I'm picking her up. I dialed her number and it rang a couple of times before she picked up.
Hello?
Hey Sasha I know we have that date tonight but-
You think it's a date?
( chuckles )I guess so but before you interrupted me ( she laughs )I needed to know where do I pick you up?
At 234 Place Ave. * made up address *
Alright I'll see you in 5 mins. ( hangs up )
Damn it I have to get her flowers. I stopped at a flower shop and brought the nicest flowers I saw. I ran back to the car and placed the flowers down gently. I drove the car to where she told me and it was a hotel. I grabbed the flowers while I opened the door to get out. I jogged into the hotel.
I walked to the elevator and went to the 5th floor. I ran down the hallway to find the room which I finally stumbled upon. I fixed my hair and fixed my clothes a bit. Why was I fixing myself? I don't know. I just have that feeling that I have to impress her.
I knocked on the door......
