thirty eight.

Same day, 7:38 P.M.

I knocked on her door, waiting for her to answer. I know I came pretty late because we have RAW in 30 minutes but Austin's suggestion kept running through my mind.

I have to talk about everything and get to know her alot more. I knocked on the door again and it opened shortly after.

She was fully dressed and I guess she was about to leave. "Oh hi, babe." She smiled and motioned me to walk in and I did. She closed the door and she stood right in front of me.

I leaned down and gave her a quick kiss, "I thought you were going to meet me at the arena since you didn't call me." She said as I laughed. "Yeah sorry about that. I was thinking about stuff. Between you and me." I said, getting serious at the end.

"What were thinking about?" She questioned, getting a bit concern. Then asking her next question rather quickly, "Are we breaking up?"

"No why would I do that? I love you too much to lose you." I replied, smiling and placing my hands on her cheeks. "I love you too much to lose you too."

I pressed my lips onto hers and she kissed back. I don't want this to get heated so I broke the kiss. "Now let's have our talk." I grabbed her hand and led her to the bed, sitting down on it.

We sat down and I grabbed her hands. "So what do you want to talk about?"

"I want to know more about you. I want to know more about the person I met. The person I fell in love with. Not Sasha Banks. I want to know more about Mercedes Varnado." I said as she sighed. She took her hands away from mine. "I have a very dark past, Finn. You might see me a different way-

"Whatever you did in the past is your past. I won't judge you on that. I'm looking into the future with me and you." I said as she weakly smiled.

She took a deep breath in, "Well there wasn't alot of stuff going on in my childhood. You know it was basically getting hurt, having fun, or getting screamed at. Everything didn't start until I started wrestling. I trained at Chaotic Wrestling in Massachusetts and that's where I thought....thought.....that I found the love of my life. His name was Sarath. We used to spend alot of time together. He was the one who trained me. He asked me on a date and he took my virginity that same night. Then it went on from there."

I looked at her and she looked sad. I intertwined her hands with mine and she looked up at me.

"2 years later I was already in NXT. And everything started going down hill. He started leaving for 3 weeks in a row and then comes back just to have sex with me. Then he would leave right after and I never assumed anything. I would let him leave and then weeks after he'll come back and do the same thing. Over and over again. I would confront him about it but he would always say the same excuses. It was either a business trip or to go to another wrestling company. Plenty of my friends were telling me to leave him but I loved him so I couldn't. He was my first love. I didn't know what to do then. One day after we had sex, he left. But this time I followed him to wherever he was going. He had a huge condo and....."

Tears started to fall, "You don't have to continue-

"No it's fine."

She wiped the tears and held my hand tightly, "I peeked through the window and saw him kiss another woman. Then two kids run in his arms. I couldn't believe it at first. He had a wife and 2 kids. And it killed me inside. I literally felt my whole world crash down and burn to ashes. I went back to my house and cried my eyes out. The next time he came, I threw him out and it made me realize something. He was cheating on his wife with me. It made me feel like a whore. I didn't want to go to work, I didn't want to see anyone but I still had to. For my job. I had a 2 other boyfriends after him but they didn't last that long. So I thought no one could ever love me again." She wiped the remaining tears.

Then I saw her smile, "At NXT, I met these amazing women. Obviously you know who they are. Becky, Charlotte, and Bayley. We all were best friends. We did everything together and they helped rebuild me to the person I am today. Everything was going good until we all had to go to a meeting. The meeting was the best moment of my life. They told us that we would all be going up to the main roster. Everything was perfect at that moment. I had my best friends and I knew it was only the beginning. But I'm not at the best part of my life yet."

She grabbed both of my hands and looked up at me, smiling. "We were called in for a meeting at the WWE headquarters. When we got there with the girls, there were these 4 guys standing across from each other. But even though they were all handsome, my eyes fell on only one of them. He had these gorgeous blue eyes, amazing hair, and the thing I love the most. His lips that always curved into his amazing smile. We knew each other before. We have had a couple of altercations back at NXT but I never thought of seeing him like the way I saw him that day. I didn't think that he would ever lay his beautiful blue eyes on me. I also thought he was cute and handsome before so I might have had a crush on him."

I smiled and she did as well, "I remember the words he said when we looked at each other. 'Welcome to the WWE headquarters." And he said it in most awkward way ever." I laughed, remembering that day.

"But little did I know, that he was man that I would fall in love with. I understand why it didn't work out with any men I've dated in the past because I've met the love of my life. And I know for sure that he's the one."

I wanted to kiss her so badly but I didn't want to interrupt her, "So he started flirting with me and such other things and he made me feel happy and made me feel like I meant something. I didn't want to rush into a relationship with him. But he made it so hard to deny him. Everything about him made me happy. His smile, his laugh, his personality, his eyes, his jokes, his kisses, every single thing about him, I have to see every day of my life or I wouldn't be able to be who I am today. I love him too much to let him go. I've known him for about 4-6 months already but I know it's definitely going to last longer than that."

"Hmm....whoever this guy is, he must be really lucky." I joked, smilingas she giggled. "I call him Finn Bálor but his real name is Fergal Devitt." She finished off and I pull her into a hug. "Be careful with my back." She grinned, joking which made me smile. "I know."

"When I'm I gonna get to know about the man I'm in love with? Not Finn Bálor. But Fergal Devitt." She asked as I broke the hug and I looked at my watch. It was 7:49. "Whenever your heart desires,"

She smiled, "But not right now because we have to get the arena." I responded, quickly as she laughed. We got up from the bed and walked to the door.

She waited at the door, "Wait." She turned around and I pressed my lips on hers. I quickly pulled away from the kiss, "Thanks for letting me get to know you more." We both smiled as we walked out the door.

Hmmm.....she finally revealed her past to Finn. But who knows??? She probably left some major details out. Or maybe not.
