Dear Dad,
Will there be a day that you and Mom will view me as an equal? I know I'll always be your daughter, but will there come a day when you look at me and realize that I'm all grown up? Like, you'll look at me and see a mature, responsible adult and you'll know that I no longer need your guidance?
I mean, I want you guys (you and Mom) to stick around for as long as possible- it'll be a long time before I get married and even longer if I ever decide to have kids- but..will that day come? Or has it already happened? Heh, I doubt it's the latter considering my letter about my cowardice and inability to tell you guys that I want to be an author...but that's another letter..
