I got home and found Kacey half sitting on the couch.
"Hi, Mia."
"Hey, Kace..."
"Did you get it? Did you get me the test?"
"Yeah... Kacey, you don't think that you're.... Right?"
"I don't know."
She smiled but the smile didn't reach her eyes.
"I'll be back soon."
She took the pregnancy test.
I waited for ten minutes. The test shouldn't take that long.
"Hey, Kace. Is everything fine?"
I heard sobbing from the bathroom.
She opened the door.
"You can come in."
She handed me the test stick.
I was in complete shock.
"It's positive..."
"I know."
She cried.
I hugged her.
"Kacey, we'll go trough this together."
"Thank you."
"You're my best friend. There's nothing I wouldn't do for you."
She didn't say anything but she squeezed me.
"I should probably call Daniel, huh?"
"Yeah, hun. He deserves to know."
"Yes he does..."
