My mom lives alone now, with Tina's cat. Tina found out she was allergic and couldn't have cats or dogs.
Today I was going to see my mom with Noah.
The ride there was calming. We got off our bikes and went up to the house. I rang the doorbell. After some few minutes mom opened the door.
"Mia, Noah! You came."
She said grinning.
"Hi, mom." I said hugging her.
"Nice to see you, Sophie." Noah said smiling.
"Nice to see you too.
Well, come in, come in."
The house was well furnished and it looked cozy. "It looks good, mama."
"Thank you! I've tried to make it look as good as possible."
We sat down in the living room couch. "Let me just make some tea." My mom said walking to the kitchen. "Let me help you." I said standing up.
"Noah, make yourself comfortable." I continued looking at Noah cuddling with my moms cat.
The kitchen was in the same style as the rest of the house. My mom put the teapot so it would warm.
"I'm guessing you want to talk about something?"
"What do you mean?" I said smiling.
"Please, Mia. I'm old but even I can cook tea on my own."
"Mom, you're not old. But I do want to talk about something."
"What is it?"
"Me and Noah are..."
"ARE YOU PREGNANT?!"
She shouted.
"No, mom. Shut up or he'll hear. We're getting tested though."
"Oh, god. So you're going to have a baby?"
"Maybe mom, it's just incase..."
