I sit up on the bed and soon I realize that I'm alone. Then the shower goes on and I understand where Noah is.

I write a little note so that he won't be worried and I get dressed to meet Damon.

The phone rings and I answer. Damon.

"Hi, Mia! I can't go into town could you swung by my place?"

"Yeah, sure."

"Okay, see you soon. Love you."

I hang up.

I get lost on the way but I find the house after a bit of struggle. People are walking around everywhere, some I recognize from school but the most are unfamiliar faces.

"Hi!"

I turn around and see Ethan standing there. I hardly recognize that it's him.

"Ethan, how are you?"

"Good, engaged."

He smirks.

"You are! I'm so happy for you!"

"Why did you think there were so many people here?

They are fixing the party. Damon didn't tell you."

"I was going to tell her this afternoon!"

I turn around and see Damon.

"Hi, Mia."

He hugs me.

"Hi..."

"I'll let you two talk. Mom needs me anyways."

"It's was nice talking to you though."

"Same here."

Ethan walks away to what I can only guess was the kitchen.

I look up at Damon.

"You know that we need to talk, right?"

"About what?"

"About last night..."

"To be honest, I don't remember much."

"Can we go to your room?"

"Yeah, sure."

We go upstairs and in to Damon's room.

He sits down on his computer chair and I sit down on the bed.

"So, what did I do?"

"Well, I fell asleep and I missed the movie we were going to see. You came over, drunk. To talk with me and it all ended with that Noah had to stop you from hurting me."

"Hurt you?!"

I showed him my wrist that was bruised.

He didn't say anything but buried his face in his hands.

"Damon, I-I came to break up with you."

"..."

"I don't know how to..."

"It's fine, you don't have to say anything."

He looked at me with teary eyes.

I hugged him.

"I'm sorry."

"Mia, you have not reason to be. I hate myself for what I did to you."

"I need to go, Damon. Or else I will change my mind and to much is on stake right now."

"Yeah. Okay."

"Bye...

I left the room and the house and I bursted into tears.

"Hey, are you okay?" An English accent asked.

I turned around and saw a black haired, long girl that looked worried.

"Yeah. I'm fine."

"Sure don't look like it."

"Just a breakup."

"Sorry. Those are always tough as shit."

"Yeah, guess you could say that."

"I'm Melody, by the way."

"Oh, well. I'm Mia."

"Damon's talked bout you."

"He did, what did he say?"

"Only good things."

I smiled.

"Melody! We need help with the cake."

"I gotta go..."

"Oh, well. I do to actually.

"Bye."

She waved."

"Bye..."
