I was packing my bags and looked at time. It was 4.30.
"Kacey! I'm leaving soon."
"I know. "
"So what are you doing while I'm gone?"
"I'm staying at Daniel's dorm."
"Oh. How are you feeling?"
"I'm fine. Just a bit nauseous."
She hugged me.
"You deserve a little fun. You've been working hard at school."
"Yeah. We're staying at a resort!"
"How fun."
We sat watching some animal show on the tv until it was time for me to go.
Noah came up to our dorm room.
"Mia, it's time to go."
"Sure."
Kacey cleared her throat.
"Sorry, Noah this is Kacey. Kacey this is Noah."
"Hi."
"Hello."
"Well let's go."
"Bye, Kacey. See you soon."
"Yeah, sure."
We went down to Noah's car.
"Shotgun!"
"Noah, you're driving anyways."
He laughed.
"Yeah, I know."
"So how long is the trip?"
"It's about 2 hours."
"Oh..."
