Next day
Noah woke me up early to start packing. I packed everything I brought with me including some souvenirs.
We got into Noah's pickup truck and parked by his parents house.
He rang the doorbell and grabbed my hand.
It was Noah's dad who opened. "Hi again, Mia! And Noah."
He hugged us both.
"Who was it?" I hear Noah's mom yell from inside the house.
"Noah and his girlfriend."
"Oh, he's still with Beverly!"
I feel like teasing her and I yell in.
"No, ma'am. It's the trash."
She walks to the porch.
"Oh, you..."
"So, Noah and Mia. Come in."
"Sorry, dad. We can't stay for long. We have to get back to school, you know."
"Oh, well. Good luck, son." He says pulling in his son for a hug.
"Don't let this one go."
He says and winks at me.
I laugh.
We both say bye and start moving to the pickup truck again when Noah's mom shouts.
"Goodbye, Noah... And you two, Mia."
We both wave and drive away from the house. Back to the university.
