I was sitting waiting for Kacey to come home.
My phone started ringing.
Noah.
"Hi."
"Mia! I have to change plans."
"What do you mean?"
"I can't make it to the bowling."
"Oh no, why?"
"I'm going to visit my parents to Isla Paradiso."
"Oh, have fun!"
"You don't want to come with me?"
"Wouldn't it be a little weird?"
"Nooo."
"You sure?"
"Yup. I'll pick you up at five tomorrow."
"Okay!"
We hanged up.
Shot, I forgot that Tina and my parents were coming over soon.
I called Tina.
"Hi, Mia! What's up?"
"Hey, Tina... Could you guys come next week instead?"
"Yeah, sure. I'll tell mom."
"Oh my god. Thank you, Tina!"
"No problem. "
She laughed.
"Bye, Tina."
"Bye sis."
