"ATTACK!!" Cloverstar yelled the battle cry as there was the thumping of paws against the stone and earth, being torn up by our enemies' claws mercilessly, the stench of blood almost immediately hitting her nose as it crinkled her snout.

Foxpaw bolted up as she looked around her den. Everyone was already on their toes, pelt prickling with fear and surprise.

"Stop gawking and move your rumps and get ready to fight!!" she yelled furiously, her eyes dangerous.

They all flinched at her words before finally getting a grip and flooding out of the den. Foxpaw pushed herself out of the den, but the scene she saw made her freeze in her tracks. She froze in shock and fear. There were cats everywhere from both Clover and Fire clan, ripping each other's pelts to shreds. Rabbittail and Falconwatcher were teaming up against two other big and brawny cats. They looked big, even with Falconwatcher in front of them. They were hissing and spitting at each other, claw swipe after claw swipe. She then saw Lilyheart and Riversplash struggling to pin down a huge tom looking a full snout taller than them. Her eyes then zeroed on two Clover Clan warriors trapping Badgerpaw up against a tall and steep rock, them hissing menacingly at him with their tails curled pleasingly.

That snapped her back into reality.

"Foxpaw watch out!!" called a very familiar voice as she heard a sharp hiss before feeling a sharp sting in her muzzle.

"OW!" she yelped before spinning on her back and dug her claws into her conniving opponent before darting forwards and pinning her down. Foxpaw then came face to face with the golden-furred she-cat she had faced off with earlier. "Hey! Didn't I already take care of you?" Foxpaw hissed, her eyes wide with fury. "Out of my way!!" she yowled slashing her unsheathed claws at her side. The she-cat howled in agony.

I need to get to mother and Badgerpaw! They could be really hurt right now! How dare they come and do this to us!!

"Get your filthy claws off me!" the she-cat hissed back, getting a grip and used her back legs like last time and flung Foxpaw off of her.

She tried to land gracefully but then her paw she sprained earlier decided to give out on her. She howled as her paw came in contact with the hard ground and started tumbling until she skidded to a stop. She moaned, getting up to her three good paws slowly.

"Ha! Look who did some real damage stinkin' Fire Clan flea pelt! How can you fight just with one paw?" and soon she felt a stinging to her cheek. Foxpaw hissed at both her and the pain.

Foxpaw ducked her head and lunged towards the apprentice with outstretched claws, catching her ear and yanked her down, tearing a piece off. No sooner than she had, blood started quickly flowing out. The she-cat yelped in agony as she shook her head, trying to get the blood to stop dripping down her face but only made it worse.

"How's that for some damage?" Foxpaw taunted, eyes narrowed. She wasn't feeling all nice anymore. "Now get out of my way!" she yelled and started sprinting to where the two warriors where the last time she saw them. They would have surly got him by now. But to her surprise, she saw Tornadopaw and Nightpaw wrestling with one while Badgerpaw was trying to distract the other to buy time.

Foxpaw felt a wave of relief wash over her before replacing it with rage. No one was gonna hurt her little brother! Ever!! Foxpaw flung herself against the one that was trying to focus his attention on her brother. She dug her claws into her back and clung on. The warrior gruffed in surprise as she tried to shake her off, which only made Foxpaw cling tighter.

"Get off you pint-sized scrap," she hissed as she now shook her pelt more vigorously.

"I will once you get off Fire Clan territory!" Foxpaw growled back but then yelped as the warrior suddenly kicked up her back legs up like one of the animals that the elders talked about, a horse, said to live in big red domes, and felt herself bump on the ground once again. The next thing she knew was hot, striking pain erupted in her side as she felt her flesh tearing. She let out an ear splitting screech.

"Foxpaw!!" Nightpaw and Badgerpaw screamed in unison as Foxpaw felt hot liquid pouring out of her side.

"HOW DARE YOU HURT MY SISTER YOU FLEA-BAGGED SCUM!!" Badgerpaw screamed as he leaped up from behind the she-cat landing squarely on the warrior's back, sinking his teeth right at the bottom of her ear. She screeched in pain.

"Why youu-" she got cut off as Nightpaw fiercely dug his claws deep into her flank.

"Don't you dare mess with Foxpaw!! Ya hear?!" Nightpaw spat, his eyes ablaze.

You guys... Foxpaw felt her heart filling with warmth, her pain briefly vanishing, until the she-cat shook off Badgerpaw and kicked Nightpaw squarely in his stomach who let out a whimper.

"Nigh-h-htpaw.." Foxpaw muttered as she tried to stand but instantly felt more blood pool around her paws, getting them all sticky. Her side felt like it was seething and on fire. She hissed in pain, her eyes screwed up and shut tight.

"Stay right where you are Foxpaw! Don't move or else you'll lose more blood!! Tornadopaw! Get her to the medicine cats den, now!!" Nightpaw ordered fiercely. "Badgerpaw and I will handle her," he said jerking his head towards the she-cat who was examining her flank briefly before fixing her eyes on her opponent again with a glare that could pierce through a tree trunk. She dug her good hind-paw into the dirt, ready to leap at any moment now. Only then did Foxpaw realize that she didn't hear the other warrior that Nightpaw and Tornadopaw were fighting off earlier. She felt a flash of victory and satisfaction. They beat him.

Tornadopaw must have finished him off... He's stronger than I thought.. Just one more opponent. Foxpaw thought absently as the world around her started to grow fuzzy and dim, the objects around her blending and colors bleaching. Her senses were dulling as she started to loose feeling in her paws. She let out a soft groan as the screeches and howls around her all started to buzz out, replaced by a constant ringing sound. And the shrieks of all her clan mates and those of the others, all vanishing...
