Chapter eleven.

It's past midnight and there was nothing. This was the last feeding room and if it turned out not to be the one, he'd lose hope.

"If this is the one and we find Cammy and not your brother you'll be on your own," Noah told Lukas.

"I know." the Alpha answered.

Noah glanced at his companion to his left. Green eyes stared back at him in determination.

The plan was for Ashton and Noah to go in and call for the wolves in case anything goes wrong. Noah was a vampire and couldn't stand out much. And thanks to what they had done before, Ashton had some of his scent rubbed off on him. Other vamps will assume he's Noah's human. That doesn't mean he'll let him do it again, Noah thought with a scowl. He shouldn't get close to the dragon.

He nodded at Ashton and they walked towards the familiar building. Typical of most feeding rooms they are made in form of clubs to attract humans. Mostly private clubs so more humans could be attracted to them.

Noah and Ashton walked right to the door. It's not the first time he'd been there, and he's a vampire. So...free pass.

The man by the door stared from him to Ashton before moving back and letting them in. That part was easy, now finding Cammy and the wolf.

.........

Cyril Donnelly watched as the two men disappeared behind the door. "That's him." he said to his partner seated across from him in the car parked across the street.

"Are you sure? He's kind of small," Keith Shue said with a frown. "I...uh...mean...uh...just don't patronize me. I didn't mean it like that," he corrected as Cyril glared at him.

Cyril sighed and looked at the door, which was once again closed.

"Noah Black. That's him, I'm sure of it. And he has a connection with the missing people. This is our only chance to get him," he said not looking at his partner.

"Yes, then who is the bloke with him?"

"I don't know. But we'll soon find out."

Cyril and Keith looked at each other before  Keith took out his phone. He dialed a number and put it on his ear.

"Boss...we found him...yes...We're right outside...yes sir...okay..." he hung up and looked up.

"The back up will be here in ten," he said as they stood to make their way to the building.

.......

Noah watched the door behind the bar. He was sure something was behind that door. So far he's seen vampires walking in and out of the door. And none of them looked as if they had come from feeding. He had to find a way to get back there.

"Do you need a distraction?" Ashton asked watching the same door.

"How?"

His gaze scanned the room and settled on a group at the far end of the room. Two vampires were harassing three women who'd just come in. One was human but the other two were vampires. Young ones from how they looked.

"Are you sure?" he asked glancing at Ashton before moving his gaze back to the group.

"Yes. Go find Cammy. Just scream when you run into trouble," Ashton smirked gulping down his drink.

"I'm sure she's scared of vampires. How will I make her believe me?" he asked Ashton before he could leave.

"Tell her her uncle wants his little red dragon safe." Noah nodded. "Now don't forget to scream," he finished with a chuckle.

Noah snickered at his words as he watched him make his way across the floor. There's no way he was going to scream for help.

Noah watched as Ashton grabbed the human girl around the waist turning her to face him. And grabbed the attention of the rest by planting one on her. Noah cleared his throat curbing the uneasy feeling he got watching Ashton kiss someone else. But what he'd done worked.

Under a minute, Ashton was rubbing his cheek from a punch he received from one of the male vampires. The fact that he wasn't as affected by the blow as he was supposed to baffled the vampire.

"What are you?"

"Someone who's going to kick your ass," Ashton said before punching the man. The man went down crashing on a table behind him. Everyone in the club turned to the fight.

"Hey! Go do that outside," the bartender said moving from behind the counter. Noah watched as he moved to the fight and was swallowed by the crowd forming around Ashton and the vamps.

He moved around the bar making sure he was not seen and walked to the door he'd been eyeing. He opened it slowly glad no one was coming up and locked it behind him. He just hoped Ashton will be okay. Even though he was a dragon, he could still die.

Noah walked down the dark lit stairs with a sigh. Thank God he's a vampire so he can see clearly in the dark.
