Chapter Sixteen

Chapter Sixteen.

"Why don't you two come back to the pack pack house. I'm sure it'll be easier to commute to the station from there," Lukas offered after they'd left the director's office.

"Are you sure?" Ashton asked not wanting to impose. He was planning to go to a hotel. But it would be nice to stay with the wolves. At least there he would be sure of Cammy's safety.

"Yeah. You too Black, to thank you for saving my brother," he said his gaze moving from Ashton to Noah. "What do you say?"

"With all those wolves? I'm a vampire dude or have you forgotten?"

"It's alright, my pack is okay. They don't judge by species, maybe some do but most don't," he explained.

"How?"

"My beta here is mated to a vampire and he's been with us for quite a while. There are also other species, like other shape shifters and even some low level demons. As you know, we don't get to choose our mates, the goddess does."

"Okay, we'll go," Noah said deciding for all of them. Even though Ashton had already agreed before. "but I have to go get my bike first."

Lukas nodded in understanding, "hurry, it's almost dawn. You know the way?"

Noah nodded. He looked to Ashton before making his way to the opposite direction of the parking lot, where they were headed. He followed Lukas and his beta to a red truck.

The drive wasn't that long. They were at the compound in twenty minutes, since the compound was in the middle of the woods. There were a few people outside when they drove in. Immediately attracting attention, Ashton was sure they stopped to stare because of Cammy and him. The first time they'd been here with Noah they hadn't been able to meet the pack. Lukas wasn't sure if they'd be a threat then, so he warned his pack away.

He helped Cammy out of the truck closing the door behind them.

"Come on, I'll show you your rooms," Cameron said leading the way into the house. Ashton just nodded lifting his niece into his arms. They were led through a few hallways till a familiar one. He made his way to the room he'd shared with Noah.

"Not there, that's your room. This is Cammy's room," Cameron said opening the door across the one he was going for. It was a simple room, but from the looks of it they knew she was coming. The room had a few toys to keep her company. The bed coverings were pink, nice for a little girl. They were trying to make her feel at home for the time she's to spend with the pack. He just hoped the wolf pups were friendly and won't give her a hard time.

"Okay I'll leave you now," the beta said before leaving the room.

"Take a shower. Then bed."

He carried Cammy to the other door across the room. It's convenient that they had a bathtub. He opened the taps and let water fill the tub as he undressed her. The clothes looked awful and were not suitable to be worn again. Ashton made sure to scrub her hair clean until it shone in the bathroom light. She was drowsy by the time they were done. It's been rough. He didn't want her to ever go through that experience again. He'd make sure of it.

He found pajamas laid out on the bed and sighed in relief. He dressed her and put her in bed. She was out like a light in seconds. He walked out of the room and to the one across from it.

"Should we continue where we left off?" a voice asked as soon as the door closed behind him. He smirked when his gaze landed on Noah splayed on the bed.

"Shouldn't you be preparing for sleep. It's dawn." Ashton non the less made his way to the bed. To his very naked comrade.

"I'm not that tired. I'm sure I'll be able to sleep soundly in an hour or two if I have my way," he grinned mischievously.

"I thought you're not gay?" Ashton asked getting rid of his clothes.

"I'm not. But I'm attracted to you. Now, kiss me." Noah said pulling him to him on the bed.

"I'm good with that." He didn't need to be told twice. He dived in for the kill. He moaned as soon as their lips touched. He could feel every part of Noah's body pressed against his. And he meant EVERY single part. This was going to be a good day for him. He thought pulling Noah closer as he deepened the kiss.
