Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one’s definition of your life, but define yourself.” –Tim Fields

Chapter one

My books and papers crashed to the floor along with me for the second time today. Believe me I'm not as clumsy as I seem. It's just my bullies waste no time in having fun (note the sarcasm).

"Watch out Olive Boil!" Chris Rivers yelled, as he laughed with the rest of the people in the hall. Zachary Anderson walked to his friends, and high-fived them. I'm not surprised he was the one behind me tripping.

If you don't know who I am, I'm Olivia Holden a Senior at Weber High. But I'm better known as Olive Boil, oily, or everyone's all time favorite... Nerdy Olly.

Yeah and the two idiots I just mentioned are two of the many that torment my life and who only live to ruin me. Why you ask? I don't have an answer for that. I've been asking myself that same question everyday, for the past eleven years. Yet I've never received an answer. You see people here treat all the nerds poorly, but I'm...I'm their favourite to pick on. The weird part between Zachary and I is our parents get along well. They've been friends since his parents moved here twelve years ago, and it happens to be five houses down from mine. You would think that Zachary and I would be the best of friends growing up together and all. But life does not turn out the way one expects it to.

"Guess the trash is out of the can again. Don't you think Zacky-poo?" Ashley said, as she glared and pointed my way.

Ashley was once my friend you see, but people began to get in her head. At first she ignored them. And shook of the insults like if they were dust on her shoulder. Yet soon they got worse and when the offer of popularity was set on the table in front of her she cracked. She always had this huge crush on Zachary and when she realized that if she ditched me, she would be able to get with him. Well it doesn't take an idiot with half a brain to figure that out. Does it? Did it hurt to see my best friend and only friend leave me for some idiot? I won't lie and say it didn't because it did. I remember crying for months hoping she would rethink what she did, but to this day she's still with him. Well more or less. They're more of the on and off relationship. One moment they are at each others throats, the next they are having a competition on who sucks the other persons face faster. You would not want to see their PDA with a full stomach. It's plain out Gross!

So do I have friends right now? No, not at the moment. Do I want a friend? Yes I really do, but Seriously who in their right mind would want to be caught seen with me. Let me give you a hint no one. Will I cry about it? Hell to the no! I did that enough already.

Sighing I started to pick up my things. As I reached out to pick out my math homework a pink high heal with a pedicured foot stepped on it. Looking up I was met with the cold green eyes of Ashley.

"Well how you doing?" I ask sarcastically.

She scrunched her nose up in disgust "I believe I said the trash is out of the can," she gestured to me. It took a while for Zacharys goons to figure it out. But when they did the stupid faces they were wearing wore off.

"Oh yeah," one said

"Going," another yelled as they scooped me up.

They dragged my limp body to the nearest trash can. One grabbed my legs and the other my arms. "Up you go," they said in unison sending me flying inside.

The smell of rancid milk hit me first. And let me tell you that thing can knock a grown man out. I began to feel the back of my jeans being soaked through. And as I tried to figure out what it was I heard the small squish and squash, of what I later realized was meatloaf surprise. Well it sure is a surprise for me. The bell rang signaling the start of second period. Sighing I got out of the trash can trying my best not to touch the food inside. Jumping out I slipped and fell on my ass thanks to some nincompoop who was to lazy to throw the banana piel right after they finished.
