I said goodbye to the guys after the movie and began to head out. Damon took the keys from the counter and lead me to the car.

The first few minutes in the car it was quiet until Damon spoke up.

"So I saw you got Wyatt to tell you his life story,"

I nodded, "I had no idea he had gone through so much," I replied

"Well no one really knows what someone has passed through until they know the persons story," he pointed out

"True...What about you?" I asked

"What about me?" he questioned

"What is your story. What made you the way you are now?" I asked

He chuckled and shook his head.

"Why are you laughing it wasn't a funny question?" I asked confused

"I laughed because you seem to act like the therapist of the group," he pointed out

"I just want to help. that's all,"

He nodded, "I know that you just want to help."

"So you're going to tell me?" I perked up

He shook his head, "there isn't much to say Olivia. My life wasn't like theirs. It's not a heartbreaking tale of drug addict parents or a cheating father," he replied

"So was it a normal childhood?"

He shook his head, "if it had been normal I doubt I would be in a gang right now Olivia," he pointed out

"A kid with a normal life can be in a gang too you know," I shot back

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah," I replied confidently

"Name one person you know that has a normal life and is in a gang," he challenged me

I thought hard about it before I answered, "Zachary is in a gang and he has a normal life with loving parents," I pointed out

"Zachary does not count," he said

"How come?" I asked

"Because Zachary is a little cunt and I doubt he has a normal life. Like I said no kid with a normal life is in a gang," he replied

"Okay fine. What about your life then? What lead you to this type of life style? If you didn't have a normal life what lead you to the gang life?" I asked

"Olivia stop trying to get a sad story out of me it won't happen,"

"Come on I want to know something about you. All I know is you joined the gang right after the twins. What about your parents?" I asked

"Olivia my parents are dead. Have been for a long time. An uncle raised me and that's my story. Sorry it's not as interesting or as heart shattering as the other guys," was his reply

"I'm sorry to hear that," I whispered softly

"You know I don't like it when people tell me they are sorry to hear it," he replied

"Why?" I inquired

"Because it tends to sound so fake. And it is often said because they feel awkward and they don't know what to say next," he pointed out

He had a point there.

"Still though. I am sorry for your loss,"

"thanks...I guess," he replied
