Chapter three

"How old are you?" Liam asked, as he took a large bite out of his pepperoni pizza. The guys hand ordered a few boxs for our "bonding day" in other words let's-get-to-know-each-other-and-see-if-it-will-work day.

"I'm 17, will be 18 in January 5th." I said with a small smile.

They all looked at each other and nodded.

"What?" I asked as I brought a napkin to my lips, and cleaned the pizza grease off the corner of my mouth.

"You're the youngest from all of us," Jax cooed with a pout.

I frowned at him, "I doubt that any of you are way older than me."

"You're wrong. Wyatt is nineteen and Damon is eighteen," Liam answered, as he took a sip of his soda.

"Well how old are you two? You can't be much older than me," I pointed out.

"We will be eighteen in December fourth," both Jax and Liam said beaming.

"A month that is nothing!" I said a bit too loud

"No it's a year," Liam said in a matter of fact tone

"No you were born December and I was born January. That's a month's difference," I stated

"No you were born 1999 we were born 1998. One year," Jax answered

"Olivia don't even try when the twins set their minds on something there is no point in arguing with them," Wyatt warned.

"Yeah plus talking to them for more than five minutes will only kill your brain cells. You can never get those back," Damon said as he entered the room with a beer in his hand. I wrinkled my nose at the sight of the beverage of his choice, but I kept quiet.

"Hey! That's really unnecessary," Liam exclaimed

"And quite insulting," Jax added

"Shut up you dimwits!" Damon ordered.

I smiled at this little show they were putting. Yeah they were insulting each other but it was playful. The insults weren't ment to hurt. They weren't ment to sting. It was just playful fighting. Like best friends would do or siblings. Come to think of it all these boys are so different. Wyatt with his blond hair and blue eyes seemed to pop out like a sore thumb between the four of them. Yes he and Damon had blue eyes but Damon's eyes were a pale blue while Wyatt had dark blue eyes. The twins had hazelnut colored hair and dark brown eyes different from the other two. Damon's hair didn't match any of theirs his hair was raven black which seemed to suit his sharp features and gave him this bad boy aura.

"Are you guys brothers or something?" I asked the question I had been thinking.

"More or less. We don't share the same biological parents but we see each other as siblings," Damon answered.

"So your parents are cool with you guys just living here and...drinking?" I asked as I looked at the can of alcohol in Damon's hand.

"We...we are kind of on are own. We have parent's but-" Jax trailed off. The happy twin didn't seem so cheerful anymore. Infact he seemed to be out of it now.

I bit my lip, "I apologise if my question was too personal," I shouldn't have asked the atmosphere had changed from upbeat to serious and tense.

"No it's fine we just like living on our own and yeah our parent's are good with that," Wyatt answered, giving me a small smile.
