"It's time that you realized you're worth a hell of a lot more than you think" -unknown

I fumbled with my hands on my lap. Zachary sat across from me in the living room. Our parents sat next to each other and talked about work and other stuff. I couldn't concentrate on their conversation all I could concentrate on was on the devil before me. You might be asking yourself where are the guys? Or why are they not there with me? Well, I have no answer for that because I myself do not know of their whereabouts. I thought they would be here by now. I told them the time, yet they are nowhere in sight. I sighed heavily as I watched the clock tick away. I could feel Zachary's eye burning holes in the side of my head as I looked anywhere but at him.

My mother excused herself and left to check on the food. Soon after the rest of our parents left. Leaving Zachary and myself alone in the room. I gulped, nervously I sent the boys a quick 'where are you' texted, hoping they would soon reply.

Zachary stood up and slowly made his way to me. He sat down next to me and turned to look at me with a mischievous smirk.

"Where are your little friends," he asked mockingly as he glanced around the room. He pointed at the empty seats.

I rolled my lip in and bit down on the soft flesh.

"Olivia do you really think that I can't do anything to you just because our parents are in the other room?" Zachary asked as he leaned closer to me.

I flinched away from his body. He chuckled and moved back.

"It is always so much fun to know you still fear me," he laughed. "It makes me feel like the hunter and you like the prey. Not a good looking prey if I might add."

I stayed quiet and avoided eye contact with him.

He arched a brow, "Are you not going to say anything the entire night?" he asked

"I don't like speaking with idiots," I answered

"Then you must not like talking to your little friends as much as you say you do," he snarled. I narrowed my eyes at him. How dare he say such a thing.

I turned and looked at him, "they are not the idiots you are," I snapped back

"Overprotective of them I see," he chuckled.

"Of course I am they are my friends," I replied

He laughed, "are they really your friends after all they left you here...with me...all alone," he whispered as he leaned in.

His minty breath fanned my face as he moved closer. I shivered in discomfort as I felt my personal space being violated. I hate it when he is this close to me. I hate when our parents leave me alone with him. I hate how he always manages to make me feel so weak. Most of all I hate myself for letting this happen. For permitting him to throw me around.

"That's where you are wrong," Damon's voice seemed to have broken me out of my frozen state. I stood up quickly and smiled when I saw all four boys nicely dressed.

Damon pulled Zachary up by the collar and glared at him. Zachary glared back at him.

"Sorry we were late. Jax wanted to stop for flowers and he took too long choosing the right bouquet," Damon said as he turned to look at me

I smiled at Jax who held the large bouquet of flowers in his hand. He picked out a rose and walked up to me.

"For you my lady," he said in a British accent and for emphasis he added a small curtsy. I giggled at his small gesture.

"Dinner is ready," my mother announced as she made her way into the living room.

She stopped and looked at all of us. Her eyes widened in surprise when she saw the guys standing there.
