Have you ever felt alone even in a room full of people? You look around and see everyone laughing and enjoying life and you're just there? Everything seems to be moving in slow motion and you try to keep up but it's like trying to catch a moving train you end up exhausted and it's always out of reach. That's how I felt now. My parents always held an early Christmas party for our relatives to celebrate before they all went on their separate vacations. Most of the time I could play my okay card and act like I was fine. Today wasn't one of those days. My mother had told one of my aunts about my hospital visit and now everyone knew.

I could feel their eyes burning wholes on the side of my head. Could hear the whispers behind my back. I hated it and they knew I did. Gossip was gossip in this family.

"Oh sweetheart I heard about what happened. Are you okay?" My aunt asked as she gave me a hug.

I faked a smile and nodded. I would be better if you hadn't opened your mouth I thought to myself.

I could hear the guys coming before I saw them. They were loud and a bit crazy but that wasn't it, it was the gasps and whispers of my aunts and younger cousins.

"Hey Olivia how ya been?" Jax asked as he threw a hand over my shoulder.

I placed a smile on my lips and looked up t him, "I'm good just exhausted after so much human interaction."

They laughed along with me.

"So who are these handsome men?" My grandma asked as she walked up to us.

"Grammy these are my friends Wyatt, Liam, Jax, and Damon," I pointed at each one

"Friends?" she asked with an arch brow

I nodded

"I don't believe it. Which one of you boys is dating my Olivia?" She asked

If my eyes could fall out of my skull they would have by the way I had looked at her.

"Is it one of you two?" she asked Damon and Wyatt, "You seem strong enough to protect her."

"Or is it one of you two?" she asked the twins

They all shook their heads, "we try but she won't take us," Jax replied

"Olivia how can you say no to such handsome boys?" she shook her head and laughed

She pinched the twins cheeks and smiled, "very handsome," she said before excusing herself.

"So Olivia aren't you going to introduce me?" my cousin, Ariel asked.

I rolled my eyes, "Where is your boyfriend, Ariel?" I asked

She scowled at me, "way to ruin my chance. Well that is if they don't care," she twirled a strand of hair around her finger

"Um," Liam said as he looked uncomfortable in the situation

"You're fifteen they are too old for you," I shushed her away

She rolled her eyes, turned and left.

"She is interesting," Liam chuckled

"Yeah sadly  she's my cousin," I shook my head and sighed.

"Want some food? There is tamales, tacos, pizza, salad, and burgers. My family is picky so we have different choices for everyone," I pointed out

The twins didn't go for the actual food but rather they headed to the dessert section. I smiled as I watch them pile up their plates with junk food. One of my aunts went up to them and began to yell at them for not eating healthy. She took their plates away and made them follow her.
