Call Me Back (A Fab Moretti fanfic)

Boring Day

I went home after that keeping the smile on my face from earlier because dang that boy was cute but obviously he doesn't and won't like me ever so why am I even getting my hopes up. As the day went by I did the usual things I do on break I just cleaned a little to help my mom and then grabbed a bowl of cereal and listened to music as always, pretty boring stuff, my mom came home and made some tamales as it was close to Christmas and then Jesus came home from work, ate and went to classes for domestic violence (if you get the idea if my I hate my father with a passion that's why. It's at times like this where I wished I still had my brother and sister around but they have their own lives.) I was eating at the island in our kitchen when I decided to start a conversation with my mom
"Hey mom did you know we got new neighbors" I said with a smile
"Wow that's nice did you greet them?" My mom said with her back towards me
"Yah they did they said my cookies were amazing" I said even with a bigger smile
"Did they like bribe you to make more because you have a huge smile on your face and you are blushing wait....is there a boy" my mom said turning around to me and then wiggling her eyebrows
"Nooo Pshhh I have no idea what you are talking about" trying to hide my face
"Ooh what does he look like, how old is he, is he nice, how tall is he" she rambled
"Woah mom slow down from what I've seen he seems nice, he looks about my age, he's around 5'9" maybe and he looks wow like he's really cute but I'm sure he will never go out with me" I said pouting like a child how had just gotten her sucker taken away.
"Oooo he sounds cute and aww sweety you are beautiful don't doubt yourself" my mom said looking sympathetic
"Well that's what all mothers say and doubt is my middle name" before she could say anything else I ran up stairs.
