Coffee

Normal POV

I woke up in an unfamiliar bed and when I sat up I remembered last nights events so I slapped my forehead but it was cushioned by cotton balls and medical tape around my left hand where I'm guessing I cut with the glass, strange I don't remember cleaning myself up. I got out of the bed at went to find a bathroom when, I did I saw tear stains on my cheek so I grabbed water and splashed my face wiping off all my make up also. I looked around for more cotton balls as the ones I had were all bloody. I took off the bandaging, found peroxide gently dabbing my cuts with it so it wouldn't get infected, then fixed everything up so my hand was bandaged again. If they really need this stuff I'll just buy them new ones but I didn't use a lot so. I checked the time and it said it was 9:37 am so I went downstairs quietly to grab my satchel with all my stuff so I can leave when I saw Fab passed out on the couch with a sketch book next time him on the floor with what it looked like a girl but when I crouched down so I could look closer... It was me. I was confused on why he would draw me unless he-- no he doesn't have feelings for me anymore I mean after what happened yesterday I would be surprised if anyone wanted to be around me anymore. So I stood back up grabbing my shoes and putting them on properly and turned around to bump into someone.
"Shit sorry...wait where are you going?" said Nick looking at me weirdly as I had my shoes on and had my bag on my shoulder
"Uhhh I was just about to leave" I said trying to move around him not making eye contact but he moved along with me blocking my way
"But why so in a rush" he asked me with a confused face
"Look Nick it's nice and all but yesterday I completely made a fool of myself and I'm pretty sure none of you would want to deal with me" I said still not looking at him trying to move out of his way so I could leave but me grabbed my shoulder
"Look none of us care what happened yesterday, you know sometimes things build up inside of us and we can't hold it in any longer so we let it all out" he said now looking into my eyes so I let out a single tear knowing that even with all my problems they do care so he hugged me and rested his chin on top of my head and said "look how about I take you out for some coffee while the other guys and Penny are asleep does that sound good" he asked and I nodded my head slightly wiping my eyes with the back of my hand. I took a hair tie I had on my wrist and tied Fab's shirt so it wasn't so big and tucked it in and gently patted my head so my hair wasn't a mess. We finally got to a little coffee shop and I got out of Nicks car, as we entered inside the music playing caused me to look straight at Nick and smile because they were playing The Strokes and he just laughed a little and rolled his eyes
"What do you want" Nick asked me as we got to the cashier
"I'll just take a black coffee" I said looking for money in my bag but he stopped me and insisted he paid, I disagreed but he did it anyways. We took a seat at the back of the shop so he wouldn't get recognized and talked for a while as we waited for our drinks
"So are you and Penny officially a thing now" I said as the lady brought us our coffees
"Actually yes we are and since we aren't going anywhere for a while hopefully we can stay a thing" he said taking a sip of his drink "also how can you just drink black coffee, that's gross"
I laughed "how come you can add so much sugar and cream" "nah I just used to drink plain black coffee to keep me up during studying, if you didn't know I have a psychology major incase the whole restaurant thing didn't work" I said nonchalantly taking a sip of my coffee as he gave me a blank stare
"So you can do all what Penny said yesterday plus you major in psychology, well if I be damned you can't do pretty much anything" he said rolling his eyes playfully
"Eh not really it just seems like a lot I mean I can't ummm" I had to think about it
"Exactly" he said smiling at me as I laughed, I could have sworn I saw a little flash of something but I think I was just going crazy
