"This is Gregory Miles Mitchell, your captain, thank you for riding with us."

"Capt," Jeremy Maguire, one of Miles' co-pilot with that flight called him after he said the statement in the interpoll. Kakalanding lang kasi ng eroplano sa Los Angeles International Airport which came from London. There were three of them managing the entire flight, "Wanna come with us and get some booze?"

Umiling naman si Miles sa sinabi nito, "I think I'm just gonna stay at home." He answered. Well, he doesn't really party that much—adding that he really felt very tired from all the flights he had on that day. It was even already 11 in the evening. He just wants to rest.

"Well," Jeremy laughed, "If you'll change your mind, you can call me anytime. There will be some women there, Capt. I know you haven't been with any of them for a long time." Natawa naman si Miles sa sinabi ng kaibigan. Well, three years had passed and yes, he hasn't been dating anyone. His last relationship was with Cheska Monique Torres. After the divorce, wala muna siyang dinedate.

"Your sex life has been.. you know."

"Maguire, if you don't have anything to say, shut the fuck up." Nagkatawanan naman silang dalawa matapos niyang sabihin iyon.

Miles quickly took a shower the moment he arrived at his apartment. He doesn't really have a huge house here in the US. Hindi naman talaga kasi siya galing doon but instead, his homeland was in London. He just bought one there in case na may mga flight siya papuntang Amerika and he needs to stay for a night. He just bought it few months ago and he hasn't really been staying there—mostly, he would just come there at least twice a month.

When he was finished fixing himself—just gray sweat pants and white sando, he decided to go to his living room and watch a few shows before going to sleep. Hindi pa naman siya ganun kaantok kaya napag-isipan niyang magchill muna.

He quickly sat at the couch and turned on the TV. He went through a lot of channels but none of them seemed to get his attention. Puro kasi mga showbiz talks ang nakikita niya ngayon sa TV. He wasn't interested in any of them.

Although, some actresses—especially coming from Hollywood would sometimes be linked with him that they were dating and such, none of them are true. Minsan kasi minemisinterpret ng mga tao na may mga celebrities kasi minsang nagiging mga pasahero niya and some would offer him a lunch or dinner. And all with due respect, he would agree most of the time. Besides, everyone wants to be linked with for he was the heir of Mitchell Airlines. Well, sometimes, he got tired of it—when women just want to date him because of his fame.

Napansin naman ni Miles ang mga magazines na ibinigay sa kanya ng isang airport crew kanina. Humingi kasi siya sa mga ito kung pwede bigyan siya ng mga magazines, probably the latest para may mabasa siya sa stay niya doon sa US. Bukas ng tanghali pa kasi ang susunod na flight niya so he'll have more than 8 hours of sleep. Hell, he has been sleep deprived in these days kaya ngayon pa lang siya makakabawi ng tulog.

He opened one magazine and started reading on it. Maya-maya'y napangiti naman siya. It was an article about Cheska Monique Torres, his ex-wife—tungkol sa mga designs nito. His ex-wife was now really famous in the fashion industry, even celebrities from different countries admires her works. And he has to agree, Cheska is really a brilliant fashion designer.

He then suddenly remembered why they split. It was a fast. Everything was fast between them. Both of them just felt they have mutual feelings for each other and decided to marry abruptly. Then just one day, they both realized it wasn't really right—that there are still some issues between their own selves—that they have to settle everything on their own before jumping in quickly into marriage.
