Rocky slammed on his brakes, spinning his truck around. His mutant counterpart stood ten times his size, looking down at him fiercely. "Come and get me, freak!" He stepped on the gas, speeding in between the mutants legs.
Racing up and down street, he tried to trick his mutant counterpart. The mutant growled loudly, shaking the ground. Each step caused a building to collapse around them. He needed to get him away from the buildings, out in an open area.
Suddenly, he heard a loud hiss. Turning his head, he saw something unexpected. A laser shot out from the mutants eyes. "Seriously?!" he barked, slamming his paw as hard as he could. "Flamethrower!" he barked. He was near the forest now, having backtracked. "Autopilot!" He looked around at the trees. The animals had lefts days ago, apparently knowing something like this would happen. Rocky took a deep breath. "This goes against everything I believe in, but..." Shutting his eyes, he said "Fire."
The flamethrower began spitting it's fire everywhere. He jumped out of the vehicle, rolling on the ground until he slammed into the side of a tree. The mutant continued to chase the truck, unable to see Rocky through the flames.
A large forest fire had broken out, destroying everything in its path. Tears came to Rocky's eyes, not only from the pain swirling in his mind, but also knowing he had failed to protect Mother Nature. We can replant them. It's for the best. He watched as his truck took evasive maneuvers through the trees. The mutant was on fire, but he didn't seem to notice. Hopefully he goes down.
Rocky needed to escape the forest fire before the smoke overtook him. He put on his mask and ran as fast as his legs could take him. "Marshall," he barked. "Ignore the massive forest fire." He continued running, dodging in between falling branches and trees.

"What forest fire?" Marshall inquired. He screamed as his own mutant clone growled behind him. "No time to talk, gotta go!" He drew his hose, setting his truck on autopilot, and fired towards the mutant. It didn't do much damage, but provided a necessary distraction. He and Silo jumped out, making sure his truck would evade any and all advances. They hid behind a building, waiting for the mutant to pass.
The mutant took the bait, not realizing Marshall had slipped away. "Silo, go help Ryder with Humdinger." The wolf nodded, rushing off. "Rocky, how's it going?"
"My clone took the bait. Heading to the rendezvous now."
"Same here. Everything's going to plan."
Rocky smirked as he dodged a falling branch. Coughing, he said "Did you doubt Ryder's plan?"
"No, but- You know what I meant!"
"Copy *cough* that. Smoke's getting thick and seeping through my mask. I've got to focus."
"Stay safe, Rocky," Marshall said. He slipped in the shadows of an alley.

Skye had flown with her backup reinforcements. She had called in a favor, a they sure delivered. Her mutant was the largest out of them all. She found that highly ironic, but nevertheless, ordered the battalion to shoot on sight. The bullets wouldn't cause much damage, but that wasn't the plan. Everything the pups were doing was merely a distraction. If everything went to plan, the mutants would eventually destroy themselves. Hopefully. "Keep drawing its fire. I'm going to check in."
"Be careful," Ace said. She would gladly do anything for the PAW Patrol, repaying them after they saved her life.
"You too." With that, Skye, using her wings, flew down to Earth.

Meanwhile, at City Hall, Humdinger was walking around inside when the lights went out. "Very funny, boy, but you can't hide from forever."
