Zayn POV

Niall had left 3 days ago, and none of us had fully processed it. How could he just leave? I know he was pissed, but that was a little dramatic. And, for some odd reason, I was feeling guilty.

"You have to get over this", Keating said putting her arms around my waist, "It's not your fault.”

"Babe, I told him to come out with us. Maybe if he hadn't come, then she wouldn't hav-.”

"Zayn, she was going to pass either way. You didn't kill her, and you didn't make Niall come with you. He's a grown man, and if he didn't want to go, he wouldn't have.”

"Still..."

I trailed off knowing she was right. But, Niall said it so he clearly must feel that way.

"Let's not talk about me. How are you and Louis?"

She shrugged getting off the bed.

"He's still freezing me out. It's been a week and a half, and he still won't talk to me.”

"Just so I'm clear, what did you say?"

Keating looked at the ground, playing with her fingers. Was that hesistation I sensed?

"I can't tell you.”

"And, why not?"

"Lou doesn't want me to.”

"Lou won't even speak to you, and you're keeping secrets for him? Babe, I'm your boyfriend.”

"I know that", she ran a hand through her hair, "But it's not my secret to tell.”

"So? Couples aren't supposed to keep secrets from each other.”

She eyed me.

"Really? So, there's nothing you're not keeping from me?"

"Nothing that I can think of.”

"I'm sure you'll come up with something. I can see it in your eyes.”

She rolled her eyes and walked out of our bedroom. As I followed her, I noticed Louis sitting in the lounge. That was weird because he had barely come out of his room in the past week and a half.

"Hey, Lou. How are you?"

"Better than you", he snarled.

"Look. I understand that you're pissed, but don't take it out on me.”

"Who should I take it out on?” he spat, "Your precious girlfriend?"

Now, he was just being rude.

"Look-.”

Keating cut me off and put a hand on my chest. I backed off.

"I'll handle this.”

Louis raise his hand when he noticed her walking towards him.

"Do you ever give up?” he asked, "What part of 'I don't want to talk to you' do you not understand? Just leave me alone.”

"I'm not leaving.”

"Get out, Reagan.”

He did turn around to glare at her.

"No", she stood her ground.

"You're so annoying.”

"And, you're a dick.”

This shocked him and me both, and he stood up.

"Excuse you?"

"You heard me, Lou. This is so unfair. You won't even hear me out?"

"No. I'm going to ask you, no, tell you, one more time to leave me alone.”
