Reagan POV

Surprisingly, Zayn and I got along really well over the next few days. We basically just acted like friends. It was weird considering he and I never got to do the 'friend' thing. We went from despising each other to sleeping with each other. But, this felt good. We were good as friends. It was enjoyable to say the least. He and I were sitting on the couch while Harry was in the kitchen cooking. One downfall of Louis leaving was that our meals weren't as good as they used to be. Harry, bless his heart, tried to cook as well as his brother, but it just wasn't happening. I admired him for trying because I know how much I hated cooking.

Louis was supposed to be coming over later to watch a film with us. I had my feet in Zayn's lap while he and Niall argued about something. Needless to say, we haven't seen Aiden since that guy broke into our home. Even though the boys weren't happy about it, I understood where Liam was coming from. This wasn't a safe place for an almost 3-year old to be. If that meant that we got to see that little bundle of joy less, then so be it.

"Did anyone miss me?” a familiar voice called from the front porch.

I didn't even try to hide the sudden joy that I felt when Louis came in. He was right, though. Even though he didn't live here anymore, he was over here constantly. He was here for breakfast, and he always ate dinner with us. It was hard to miss him when he was hardly gone. I ran over and gave him a hug to which he scowled. I know how much he hated hugs, but he didn't push me away. Don't get me wrong, I was fine with just having the rest of the boys around. But, there was something about Louis. I could talk to him about stuff that I knew I couldn't with the rest of the boys. I don't know what it was, but it was there.

"Well, don't you look delicious?"

I looked down at my outfit to see what Louis was referring to. I was wearing a shirt that came just below my navel. My shorts were shorter than they should be, but I hadn't washed clothes recently, and this was the only clean thing. My hair was in a ponytail on the side of my head.

"I have no idea what you're talking about", I told Louis, "I didn't even try this morning.”

He looked me up and down, then winked.

"Well, let's just say the thoughts going through my head right now would make you blush.”

"Leave the poor girl alone", Liam said laughing, "She always has to suffer through your flirtatious comments. Give her a break.”

Louis waved to the rest of the boys before sitting in a kitchen chair.

"If Reagan doesn't like it, she's free to say so herself.”

Louis glared at me with a smile on his face. We both knew I wasn’t going to say anything. I rolled my eyes at him as he laughed.

"I thought so", he said, "Plus, I'm getting closer and closer to making her fall in love with me.”

I laughed out loud at that one.

"If that's what you're holding out hope for Louis, don't hold your breath.”

He scowled at me and stuck his middle finger up.

"You know what? Never mind. Hold your breath.”

All of the boys laughed, and I threw a smile at Louis. I knew he was only kidding, and he knew I was too.

"Liam, how is it going with you and Kadin?"

I personally thought Liam was out of his mind for trying to reconcile with his wife, but it wasn't my place to say.

"We're doing...better", he said, "It'll take some time.”
