Reagan POV

"You're her mum?” Niall asked, "So you're the old hag who abandoned her teenage daughters?"

My mum cut her eyes at Niall, who only shrugged. I should be scolding him for talking to my mum like that, but I couldn't help but agree with him.

"That's not a very nice way to introduce yourself to me, young man", she said to Niall.

"I don't really care. You've been here for a total of 2 minutes, and I already don't like you."

"Well, the feeling is mutual, you Irish imbecile."

"I can see the family resemblance", I heard Harry mutter to Liam.

"Well", she said turning back to me, "I can see that you've already given these boys a bad first impression of me."

"I told them the truth, Mum."

"And, what do you think is the truth?” she asked, "Because I'm sure it differs from what I'm thinking."

"The truth is that you left us, Mum! You left Trinity and me by ourselves and never contacted us!"

I still had tears coming down my face from my encounter with Louis. Now, they were just adding on.

"Where were you when I had my first kiss?!” I was getting pissed, "Where were you when I didn't get asked to prom and sat in a corner by myself and cried?! Where were you when I lost my virginity to our next door neighbor Kaulin, and he never spoke to me again?!"

"Okay, we didn't need to know that last part", Liam muttered.

"I needed a mum, and I didn't have one."

She sat there staring at me, not at all affected by my little outburst. See how cold this woman is? And, you wonder why Trinity and I act the way that we do.

"I wouldn't have left if you hadn't made such a huge mistake in killing your father."

"How long are you going to punish me for that?! Mum, he was hurting you! He would have killed you if I hadn't intervened! You can't honestly think this is my fault."

My vision was blurred by my tears, but I could still see the hint of annoyance on her face.

"Let's talk about this somewhere else. We shouldn't discuss family matters in front of these...gang bangers."

"Gang bangers?” Niall said, "I'll show you gan-."

"Niall", I cut him off, "it's fine. Let's just go to Zayn's."

"Zayn's?” Harry asked, "No, you're not bringing She-Beast Sr. to Zayn's. I live there too, and I don't want to deal with her."

I didn't want to take her to mine and Louis's. I didn't even want to go there right now. I'm not sure where he was, but I didn't feel like talking to him.

"Why are you here?” I turned back to the woman who I hadn't seen in almost 8 years.

"I wanted to have dinner with you and Trinity. We have some catching up to do."

"Yeah, 8 years' worth."

"You always did have a smart mouth. I've always hated that about you."

Biting my tongue, I said nothing, afraid of what might come out. Our hatred was mutual.

"I just wanna know about your life", she continued, "I wanna know what you achieved since I've been gone. Although...if you're hanging around these hooligans, you couldn't have amounted to much."
