Reagan POV

"Excuse me?” Harry laughed, "Reagan, you've lied to all of us numerous times, but I think this one takes the cake. Babe, do you really expect me to believe that?"

"You don't have to believe me, Harry", I told him, "Just look at the expression on your brother's face. That should give you your answer."

Liam and Niall both turned their heads to Louis saying nothing. The look on Lou's face said it all. He looked guilty. I wasn't sure how long my victory would last because I know that Louis was going to tell Harry that his mum was actually the one who did it out of self-defense, and he only went to jail for her.

"Lou", Harry slowly walked towards him, "tell me that what she's saying isn't true."

There was complete silence in the room, aside from Niall's monitors beeping.

"Louis?"

My heart broke at the way that Harry's voice cracked. I was trying to hurt Louis, but I didn't think about how this would affect Harry.

"Sorry, Harry. She's not lying."

Louis still hadn't made eye contact with Harry, and he was looking at the floor. Okay, Lou. Tell him that it wasn't really you that killed him. Tell Harry that you only took the blame for it.

"Lou?” I spoke up, "Do you have anything else to tell Harry?"

"No", his voice was sharp, but I ignored it.

"But, what about-?"

"Reagan! You've done enough. Just let me handle this."

Niall's eyes were drooping, and Liam's phone kept vibrating, but they never took their eyes off of Harry and Louis.

"To be honest", Harry said, running a hand through his hair, "I should've seen this coming."

"What?” Louis was annoyed now, "You knew that I would go to prison for killing your father?"

"No, idiot. I knew that you would keep something like this from me. You know what? I'm not even pissed that you killed him. You're not an evil person, or at least you weren't, so I'm sure that you had a good reason for it. He was an evil person."

"Then, why are you mad at me?!"

They were both standing up, glaring at each other. I wanted to leave, but I didn't see myself getting out of here safely.

"I'm pissed because you lied about it, Lou! I'm your brother! I don't keep anything from you. Why wouldn't you just tell me when it happened?!"

"I didn't think you could handle it."

"Here we go again. Ever since we were younger, you've always felt like you had some sort of obligation to protect me. I'm 19, Lou, I'm not 4. You can't protect me!"

This was obviously some resentment that he had been holding in for a while. So, I just took a seat next to Liam and watched them.

"Ugh!” Harry groaned, "You think I'm so weak and that I can't handle anything. You think I'm weak because I hated going to prison. Louis, you're the only weirdo who enjoys prison. It's normal to hate it! That's why it's called prison! I'm not the weak one. Newsflash! Who's the one that cried the entire week after you and Reagan broke up? Who's the one that had be held down twice so he wouldn't go to her and beg her to get back together again? WHO'S THE ONE WHO SAYS IT PAINS HIM TO SEE HER FACE EVERY SINGLE DAY?"

"STOP!"

Lou's eyes flashed over to mine before he looked back to Harry, and he looked embarrassed. I had no idea any of that happened, but it's nice to know that I wasn't the only who suffered during our breakup.
